Cape's great. I've already used it to protect me from machine gun fire and keep a safe, which fell off a ledge, from cracking open my skull. My cat likes sleeping on it too, but watch out with your pets, as last week half of her was invisible for an hour...

LOL, that's Great!
Maybe I can make my kids disappear when they keep waking
me up Saturday Morning! TeeHee

Glad to hear that the cape is good. Can you tell what material it is made from? I understand the instruction book comes too, is that right? has lights?

Thanks!

The cape is a thin synthetic material--says THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO on the back with a big design of the alien logo.

The instruction book opens up only to one page, which does have lights on it and the hard to read alien language.

Oh ok..Cool ;D

Is the synthetic material, a sort of cloth or plastic?
Sounds like the book is ok, I mean considering the price on the whole set... ;)

Thanks

Well, by synthetic, I guess I mean more thin polyester-ish, which isn't really plastic, per se, but it's more that than cloth....

Check out this thread:

http://tgah.proboards43.com/index.cgi?board=DVD&action=display&thread=1160753258

There's pics of the Instruction Book from the set along with screen caps.

The cape is a pretty cheesy give-away. Not really accurate and the whole "logo-on-the-back" kinda takes even more away from it.

If you want a halfway decent cape, you might as well just pick up this costume (which even comes with the wig):

http://www.80stees.com/products/Greatest-American-Hero-Costume.asp

With a few modifications, it's actually not bad, especially for $40.

And here's the box set w/ Book & cape for $75:

You might find the box set on eBay cheaper, too :)

Happy Hunting!

Derek,

How do you figure that?
you bought on two different occassions

3-5-07 / 4-10-07

At what point did you think you were
getting screwed? the first order, or when you
came back the second time? :P

Hey Everbody,

I just got an e-mail saying that there is a "Stingray' series pendant possibility...I don't know much about the Stingray series, but would anybody have an interest in that?

I don't have them to sell, so I am just wanting to find out who might have any interest in that theme...

Thanks!

I still need to figure out a way to properly 'frame' that cape from the DVD set so I can hang it on the wall...
