Tribal religions is another.
GAH: A CHICKEN IN EVERY PLOT dealing with the tribal voodoo.
A-TEAM: THE CRYSTAL SKULL in which islanders decide Murdock is a god.

I think Renagade might've had one too, but it's been a while since I've seen the show. Never seen that "A-Team" ep, but Murdock as a god must've been a bit funny.

It is in the fifth season and not one of the best, but it is in there.

It is in the fifth season and not one of the best, but it is in there. Must be why. Don't remember much of it past first couple on TV Land (and then was five years ago when in college).

Murdock expands his role in the fifth season, which is nice. However, sometimes that makes for a less than enjoying Face episode.

This ones silly, but a connecting theme it seems in all the Cannell shows I've seen are a unique costume. Ralph had the jammies, Murdock his leather jacket with the tiger and Da Nang on it, "Renagade" (Forgot name) had his outfit, etc. Anyway, they are so unique that people will recognize the character/show for them.

One you forgot was that Hannibal always had his cigar and black gloves...not an entire outfit, but close.

One you forgot was that Hannibal always had his cigar and black gloves...not an entire outfit, but close. True, but to me, they've never really been that distinct compared to Murdock's jacket. Then again, I have a jacket decorated with ties that people recognize almost immediately as mine, so that might be it. Mr. T's jewelry doesn't count though b/c he wore it a lot in the shows he was in besides "A-Team."

True, but Hannibal's gloves were a constant...everytime he was getting ready to fight...on they came...and if he was not dressed up, he always had that white jacket on.

I have another one. SJC likes to have rock and roll people protected. There was one episode in GAH, but there were two of them in the A-Team...technically more, but that is only if you count ALL music. Best way to get guest stars AND maybe keep the rights to songs.

Not to mention that the A-Team went undercover at a Wild West show and had protecting horses a main theme as did GAH when they protected Desperado and for the undercover part: 3-Ring Circus.

Can you say bad motorcycle gangs? Go GAH and the A-TEAM.

Can you say bad motorcycle gangs? Go GAH and the A-TEAM. The Rousters had a motorcycle gang episode, too ("This Town Ain't Big Enough For The Twelve of Us"); as did 21 Jump Street ("Wheels and Deals", you can Netflix it ((disc 3): www.netflix.com/MovieDisplay?movieid=70039845&trkid=189530&strkid=24256204_4_0). Although Riptide didn't have a motorcycle gang episode per se there was an episode in which a motorcycle gang figured prominantly in the plot ("Dead Men Don't Floss"). And I bet you'll never guess who played the head motorcycle guy in all three episodes...

Dennis Burkley? Or the one from the A-Team?

Dennis Burkley, of course. The guy from "The A-Team" was a fluke.

I wondered why Dennis was not in that one...I thought maybe previous contract obligations.

Very possibly. At the very same time the A-Team biker episode aired, Dennis Burkley was appearing in a four episode arc of "Hill Street Blues" as (you guessed it) biker Sonny Crockett. Since they aired at they same time, it's reasonable to assume that they filmed around the same time. Clearly, as his IMDb demonstrates, producers were always happy to cast him as The Biker no matter how many times he'd played it before nor how recently. Apparently, nobody ever said, "Gee, I don't think we can cast Dennis Burkley as The Biker because he just played a similar role on another show last month". And we, the audience, are richer for the experience. www.imdb.com/name/nm0122036/BTW, if anyone wants to see Dennis Burkley give a real, three dimensional, textured performance (ie: not the usual TV stuff; with all due respect to TV stuff); he is great in "Mask". www.netflix.com/MovieDisplay?movieid=60029388&trkid=181036&strkid=4256312_20_0

I don't know about anyone else, but all this talk about Dennis Burkley is putting me in the mood for a retrospective of his incredible body of work. I just went to Netflix and put 10 DB discs in my queue. Might I suggest everyone else peruse the selection: www.netflix.com/RoleDisplay?s=1&personid=12763

Another recurring element is the obvious use of stunt men. Both these pics are from the very same scene, just one is the interior shot and the other is the exterior shot. It took over twenty years of repeated viewings and the invention of DVD technology for me to realize that the brief exterior shot replaces Mr. T with a white guy wearing a GAH shirt... BTW: this is from the episode "The Rabbit Who Ate Las Vegas" if you want to rent it and see for yourself: www.netflix.com/AddToQueue?movieid=60037689&trkid=189539
