For those of you who are interested. I've compiled a list of stations currently airing the series in the United States. I'm now capable of picking up 5 of these stations. The show only airs on the weekends. I have those days and times coming soon. Once I have the chance to view a few episodes, I can give you details on if the music featured is original, or altered, intact teasers, etc. However I do know the below Retro Television Network affilliates are airing the show UNCUT. ========================================
KDEV-DT Cheyenne, WY
KEGS Las Vegas, NV
KKYK Little Rock/Pine Bluff, AR
KQUP Spokane, WA
KSBI Oklahoma City, OK
KUSG Salt Lake City, UT
KWCE Alexandria, LA
WBIF Panama City, FL
WBTW-DT2 Myrtle Beach, SC
WCIU-DT3 Chicago, IL
WNGS Buffalo, NY
WPXS St. Louis, MO
WSAV-DT2 Savannah, GA

KAZT-DT is a Phoenix RTN digital subchannel affiliate. I don't know if I get that channel, yet, but I'll look into it.

Great stuff, GG. I might get some of my Chicago and St. Louis people to watch and tape a few for me.

Quick question...
I think it's safe to say that most members of this board (if not all), have the entire GAH series on DVD. Why would those of you whom have the show commerical free and at your disposal, go out of your way to view chopped up TV versions?
I know the argument about the music, but is it really that simple? I'd understand a return to TV to introduce a new generation to the show, but why would those of us who know every episode by heart try to find the same show on local TV?

I like to see if anything else is edited. Plus, it is fun to see how they advertise it now and such. The main argument though is probably the music. To some people, it is very important, depending on the episode.

It's hard to explain but even though I have my favorite shows on DVD, it's still kind of a thrill to see them broadcast on television. Maybe it's reliving a happy memory or something. It's the same with movies. i have them, but I still watch them on TV.

Actually in this case they aren't chopped up. Those stations are airing the series uncut. Plus in some cases with the original music intact. Just letting anyone know who might be interested in actually watching it on broadcast tv.

I meant not chopped up as in edited like most syndicated programming. Commercials are there, although very few since the show is airing uncut.

I have the original first run ABC broadcasts on VHS with the third season's commercial breaks intact and there are probably around three commercials aired during the breaks, most for Burger King, Snickers bars, Three Musketeers bars, Double Mint Gum and even Underalls panty hose. And there's dead air in between commercials, which you never see on prime time television anymore.

Now, see, RTN is EXACTLY what TV Land & Nick At Nite SHOULD be. Their loss &, hopefully, our gain. Now, they just have to enter into more markets & make the cable companies carry them.

Yes, TV has changed a lot since then, you don't always see shows anymore with great opening credit sequences and theme songs like GAH anymore. And you know what is really a pet peeve of mine, where they have like a split screen showing the end credits of one show and the opening of another.

I agree, believeitornot. I hate it when they split screen...especially on movies that have stuff happening during the credits. My wife found the A-TEAM now with her new digital box she has to have for her TV. It is a classic TV station, playing other shows like DRAGNET and such. I wonder if it will (or does) have GAH.

I'm going to have to - right now my system is restricted on several sites due to a slight bug in my computer. I would guess it's Ralph Hinkley though... well that or Connie in "Hotel" or Pare in "Starhunter" (which is a good series but really needed incidental music).
