Great pictures. Especially of the Soup Nazi, Patty Duke, Dick Van Patten, and Dreyfuss.

Yeah, we were surprised to see Dreyfuss there because he's still a pretty big deal...well..isn't he? Maybe not.

I would think he would be considered one, but what do I know?

While I admit a few I don't recognize, I think it's great you got to meet so many neat people. It was neat you got to meet Richard Kiel, and man, I didn't notice how tall he was until I saw the pic with you two. I always liked him especially as Voltaire in "The Wild Wild West" (haven't seen him much as Jaws in James Bond movies). No wonder he played Miguelito's sidekick, he is nearly three and a half feet taller than Michael Dunn was, and made a fierce henchman.

It was a lot of fun. There were so many, it was hard to see everyone. I would love to go again some time.

I did not take a picture with Jeff Conaway because it is just heartbreaking to see him now. I had heard he'd had drug problems, but he looks like he was blown up and put back together. His face is the same, hardly even aged, but he is completely bent over and looks very fragile, like a ninety year old man. We had a conversation and somewhere in there I said that he has many fans who love him and he said a very sincere "thank you for saying that." Really, I just wanted to cry.

Really? That's too bad. He is still acting and such...I guess I just never noticed that about him or he works hard to not be that way on screen.

I agree - both on yours and HD's comments about the situation. Also, looking at the pics, it's amazing how those whom I've seen on TV haven't changed a lot in the past few years. Dirk Benedict looks relatively unchanged over the years, and while most of the shows I've seen him in are now at least 40 years old, Richard Kiel doesn't look like he's pushing 70. I thought at most he was 62, even though that'd meant he'd been real young when he appeared on "The Monkees" and "Wild Wild West." And of course, Pare hasn't changed a whole lot in the past few years. Now, some I'll admit I haven't seen, so I can't say either here nor there. But, on all, it's great you got to meet a lot of celebrities whom you've wanted to meet, especially Pare.

Is Patty Duke a hobbit, or was the angle of the photo off a little? She looks tiny! Mona

She's very petite, about 5'2 at the most.

She's very petite, about 5'2 at the most. Ah, that makes sense too. I remember Dad telling a story of one time visiting a wax museum in California that had the figures of the actors wearing the clothes the real actors wore. He said that Errol Flynn, who always appeared tall and had a powerful stage presense, in real life was very short and - his words - "scrawny." Same holds true with the Three Stooges and other actors. But, one thing's for sure - the talent you saw overshadows any of those issue, and again, thanks for sharing the pics. ;D

Yeah, I just watched Patty Duke in the TV movie "Women in White", in which Culp also was a character, which is why I tracked it down. She did very well as the nurse whose father is dying of Huntington's. She just didn't look that tiny in the TV movie. Mona
