Bill told me they got a new artist for the books - so that drawing of him on 3 may just be the artwork - not sure. I know the replacement of the artist is what's causing the delay in shipment.

OK don't worry. The artwork is not the one that's on the cover. The current artist will be doing the story arc. So don't worry folks. The CC gang wouldn't pull a lemming act. lol.

(on lemming act ) Good to know he's doing the story arc, as it helps keep them all the same. Plus, it might let the person taking over be able to draw the next set closer to the first three so there's no noticeable difference.

It was just reported in the National Enquirer on-line that a plot point in the new comic is that someone finds the instruction manual of the suit and it's not Ralph Hinckley.
Then again, as fans we know that only the person wearing the suit (that is, the person the suit was designed for) can READ the manual, so that's should not be too problematic.

Mona I'd take this one with a grain of salt and read it as speculation instead of a fact - at least at the moment. The National Enquirer's very good for gossip (i.e. the first two comments before, but a lot of their stuff is far-fetched than actual news. This does include spoilers. I've seen one too many "shocking" (read, made up) stories and too many manipulated photos to make actors too heavy or thin to "expose" them to totally trust any piece of news from them.

Apparently the Enquirer reported got it from Katt or Culp; they did mention that Culp found the pen they had lost.

Regardless, it's still speculation until it's proven in a more legitimate source, which I don't feel the National Enquirer is. This is just me only, but I don't trust a "news source" that says they'll "Pay for gossip." Gossip isn't the gospel truth. And, you have to factor in that SJC would have to approve a deviation this large from the original pilot before it'd be added into the comic series. It would change some aspects of the whole series should Ralph actually get his hands on it. Of course - again, that is speculation my part.

It wouldn't surprise me if they change something like that, but I would hate to see it. I could see it being passed around or the recurring bad guys find it and keep it, not knowing for sure what it is, and as they discover more about Ralph, realize the value. I can see it happening in a lot of different ways, but I hope they don't ruin it like that.

Even if they do change it to where someone finds it, I would guess it'd be just for a very short time and the instruction book gets destroyed somehow. Otherwise, it totally changes the basic premise of "GAH," which could be instead of real life scenarios with an out of there addition (the suit) it would become "Ralph and Bill, along with Pam, go chasing around the bad guys to try and get the instruction book back..." You know, it almost sounds like "Inuyasha" that way - that story a duo goes around and searches for shards of a dangerous jewel.

We all assume its a bad guy that gets the book .... maybe ... just maybe, its JJ Beck and his manservent that gets it and hold on to it, for JJ beck knows that Ralph losing this book would better help the planet, then having the book.
Now if Ralph get the book back and somehow finds his way back into the fourth dimention, I could possibly see him losing it there.
either way, its all good ... i'm just happy that the project is moving along :-)

If it comes back and he loses it right away again, I am okay with that. However, if it keeps popping up like a bad penny, I will not like that at all.

I'm with you - if this rumor holds true and the book is found, I hope it's gone by the end of the six comics, if not the first three that tell the story of how it all started. Otherwise, we'd have the book equivalent of "chasing monsters" again.
