Probably sooner rather than later.

Fashion isn't the only 80-ish thing to return recently: "Bionic Woman" (i know, it was a 70s series, but had TV movies in the 80s!) "Knight Rider" "American Gladiators" (1989) Superman in theaters Batman/Joker movie Strawberry Shortcake dolls (albeit with updated hairstyles and clothes) Masters of the Universe toys, cartoon, and possible movie "Dallas" movie in production etc etc In keeping with the current Age of Retro Stuff, ABC should hurry up with that new "Greatest American Hero" series! It's falling behind in this Remake Era! Speaking of retro come backs lets not forget the other trys Transformers Teenage muntant Turtles Miami Vice (movie) To name a few more Oh I know not 80's but still retro but i wanted to add they are making a "speed racer" movie too.

The problem I have with the new TMNT is that they didn't even take into account the first THREE movies.

"Speed Racer" might be interesting, but I bet they live animate it over anime. (Then again, they did that with "Sailor Moon" for a season, and it was good. ) I think Transformers never faded away, but there is a resurgence since their original run. As long as I don't see some return, such as "Golden Girl and the Guardians of the Gemstone" (which was supposed to have a cartoon series but never did), I'll be fine.

Good idea, Mel. We need a new generation of GOLDEN GIRLS.

You would want GOLDEN GIRL toys, Mel. Kindred spirits and all.

You would want GOLDEN GIRL toys, Mel. Kindred spirits and all. Sure, back when I was 6 or 7 when they came out. My sister and I had Golden Girl, I think I had Jade, and she had Saphire.

What's funny about the fashion of the 80's coming back is that the girls of today are wearing what the guys used to wear back then. Rocker shirts with peg leg jeans, wristbands and bandanas, droop heavy metal belts and converse. I used to wear that crap back in 83 (just after Pyromania came out). When parachute pants hit again - we know the circle is complete.

I finally voted on this poll, and while there have been many great adaptations of the suit, I still think the original's best. even the version Katt wore on the TV Land awards was good too (looked like pajamas/longjohns anyway).

This is an okay version but a little tweaking and it could be a great suit. The symbol is too small on the before pic and the belt is too low.

I can't seem to vote or at least figure out how to. BUT, my vote would definitely be for the original suit.

If you have none, you've already voted. Butterfingers, I see potential in your design, but from what I've read, Collazo has a reason for the suit designed as it is for his project. I'm like most people, I like the very first version of the suit. It fit either gender and the tunic length - if wanted - could be lengthened or shortened, kinda like what happened to Katt in his seasons. Single suits IMHO just don't quite look right with the suit emblem - any of the ones I've seen. :-\

You moved my Batman vs TGAH ... I guess you didn't like it? I spent all of 5 min on that (hehe)

I moved the thread because it didn't quite fit in the "TGAH... movie?" folder. Don't move and even less so lock many things, so sometimes I forget to also say why when I actually do. Did like it though, but can't really decide my stance on the scenario yet. But on the suit, I didn't mind the mock turtleneck, but liked it a little better with the grey trim than without (both are fine though). I did find it funniest when it had just a basic T-shirt collar with grey trim, as it looked like something that you threw together for a Halloween event. It did, however, look like the cape was just "goosie loosie."

[/quote] I'm sorry, but the version above is just awful and not to be mean but it doesn't flatter the girl in it either. This reeks of fanboy wish construction which is one thing I can't stand in youtube productions much less "real" movies.

I think the after version of the suit looks just fine, although I do like spandex myself better than this shiny type of material. I think it looks good on the woman. What I particularly LIKE about the female lead is that she is not some supermodel skinny body type of woman; she's just a normal looking, normal bodied female. I think that is very realistic and also worthy of respect from Collazo and Co.
Just like Ralph wasn't some tall, heavy muscled hero type, but just an average type male, they chose an average type female for their webisodes. That is admirable and consistent with TGAH.
