Back at ya, Ultimate Fed! I think I'll celebrate Halloween tonight by watching 'Beast In The Black' for the 1,000th time.

Sounds good to me! I just did that last week in fact, in honor of Halloween.
Hey, speaking of "Beast...", am I the only one who feels that episode was great but "The Resurrection of Carlini" sucked hard? I never understood why, what with Lupo writing and Laven directing both, but I just felt it way lame, and not even close the quality and spookiness of "Beast..."

I have to agree with you, Ultimate Fed. There is no comparison between the two. Although, when I was a kid and I watched that episode on ABC when it originally aired, Ralph's tuning into Carlini's twisted mind via the holograph from the pillow did spook me a bit. But, hey I was eight years old then. The Beast episode still freaks me out.

Carlini was just not a good Halloween episode for the series. It was trying to be too dark and twisted and sort of a murder-mystery which went against the premise of the show to me. Don't get me wrong...Pam looks great in her Halloween outfit, but it is not as good as BEAST IN THE BLACK...and that is not one that I generally care to watch.

Lupo came up with some great spooky concepts for Spoilsport with the dead soldier being the messenger for the greenguys and Laven created a terrific atmosphere with his direction of 'Beast', so you'd figure them teaming up for a dark murder mystery would be another classic episode. Alas, it was not to be.

I think it was too morbid for the GAH audience...or maybe KNIGHT RIDER was new that night.

No music video for that movie?

House is a great Halloween film. Although I could never figure out why Bill Katt's hair changed color in every other scene. It's blond in one scene and then dark brown in the next. Anyone else notice this?

Maybe he is possessed like Bill in BEAST IN THE BLACK.

Well, for me Halloween is special because my brother was born on the day. I remember going to the hospital that night with my sister and Dad to see Mom and him. My sister was dressed up as a clown and I was dressed up as Strawberry Shortcake (it was an step up from the pumpkin I was the previous year, and I liked the pumpkin costume ). After visiting Mom, which was short as she was tired, we got to see our brother in the maternity ward. It was easy to see him since he was near the front of the window. Funny thing is, 21 years later, he's gotten older, but Strawberry Shortcake has made a comeback to future generations. (Well, I don't know about costumes though.)

Strawberry shortcake, huh? Cute. Yes, and I even had an LP (record) from then "Strawberry Shortcake in the Big Apple City." (Well, I was around 6 at the time ) Then again, it's one of the few characters I dressed up as that people knew what I was, the others being Dorothy and a science officer from "Star Trek" Funny how things change, though, as this year I dressed up as a hippie and my brother dressed up as some sort of Japanamation character (I don't know what show it was from, but I know not "Inuyasha" or "YuYu Hakasho," the only ones I've seen. And it most definitely was not "Pokemon." )

I have not dressed up for a few years, but most of mine had the plastic faces. What is in the works for next year?

Anyone else notice this? I did, but, then again, everything I've seen him in, the first thing I have to take notice of is his hair. And, no, HD, no video yet. I COULD grab the "You're No Good" scene that's actually in the movie, but... actually, I just haven't had time. If only I didn't need so much of that darn thing called sleep...

Anyone else notice this? I don't know if this is a possiblity (I've never seen "House"), but his hair color may change pending the lighting. I have ash blonde hair, but it looks more brown in certain types of light (particularly incandescent light) and near a true blonde in bright sunlight. If the changes are drastic, then, I don't know.
