A lot of my non-fiction library is books from college courses, but I liked them, so I kept them.

I have quite a few that I like too, it's just that for some reason the catalog I was on at the university the classes always fell on the semesters they were changing books, hence why I have a lot of my mass comm ones. Out of all my books I had to keep, I think I own three that I really wanted to keep: Photography, Spanish, and jewelrymaking. Well, the third I bought at Hastings, but it was a good book anyway. Funny thing is, it's been useful for creating character names as well.

I have all the books for my majors and minors I think...might be missing one or two...and I have books from almost all of the other classes if I liked them enough. One class I think I sold back and then wished that I had not, but what do you do?

I was lucky my first year at college. They had a great book buy back plan: 50% back on hardbacks, 30% on paperbacks. When I went to my alma mater, they did their buybacks on a varying basis. Some people would get a different amount for their books then others it seemed. I guess they went by quality of the books. Though I did well, I hated that because they should have a set policy for how much each one was going to be bought back at. Last semester didn't matter, as the only items I had to bring were notebooks, my jewelrymaking supplies and a jewelrymaking book. The other three classes were either independent studies or didn't have a book.

My school seemed to change the price all the time...even for a book that was the same as the one before it. *Shrugs* Got a lot of good books out of being too frustrated to wait in line for a dollar.

I'll do it but what is an LJ?

I'll do it but what is an LJ? Live Journal. Billswoman has one and that's where she got the idea from. It's sort of a personal on-line diary. They're neat from what I've seen.

But we have all been posting them in here and not worrying about having Live Journals.

This could be neat...but I doubt the CURIOUS GEORGE books have 123 pages...mine don't.

O.k. Here goes... Page 123, third sentence...
"I need a doughnut," Jackie said. "I want one of those fancy ones with the colored sprinkles on top." "You need more than a doughnut," Lula told her. "You need your head examined. You just shot up a dead man. What were you thinking?"
From Three To Get Deadly, a Stephanie Plum Novel by Janet Evanovich.

Curious George? Did they let you check that out, or did you have to get someone else to borrow it for you? (forgot the smiley to show I'm kidding)

I got to buy it with money I earned working over the summers. And THATGIRL, you are only supposed to quote the third line...not a couple of lines.
