Thank you for the welcome back, and thank you for the compliments, Prometheus! Yeah, I got into Doctor Who with the new series. My first episode was a Nine episode, "Father's Day". Still can't watch it without crying. Then I got into the classic Who episodes. I really like Tom Baker, though I think Colin Baker's Doctor is highly underrated. They could have done so much more with him though! I had a friend who tried to get me to watch Labyrinth as a kid. David Bowie weirded me out back then! But the kids I babysat--now considered my nieces and nephew--wanted to watch it one day, and the rest is history I will NEVER not absolutely love The Incredible Hulk. I will probably never watch Death of the Incredible Hulk ever again because it was just too sad, especially combined with the fact that there were one or two more movies planned wherein David is somehow still alive. So sad that Bill Bixby passed before that could happen. Don't worry, you have plenty of time. I plan on keeping up with my shop for a long time So if you ever want to buy a painting, I'll still have product! In my case, the episodes of Doctor Who that I first saw, that they were showing on PBS when I was 14, were the really old black-and-white ones starring the very first Doctor (William Hartnell). lol I agree that Tom Baker is one of the definitive Doctors. Later, like many people, my interest in the series was revived when it came back on television with the 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston). "Father's Day"-----is that the episode with the 10th Doctor (David Tennant), where Rose travels back in time and meets her long-deceased father back when she was still a little girl? Indeed that is a powerful, emotional story. One of my favorite episodes of the newer series is "Blink"----that one featuring those big stone statues ("Weeping Angels") which come alive and will kill you in a split second if you look away. Therefore, you can't even blink. lol! I think it's an interesting scary concept. And of course, as a lifelong afficionado of robots, any episode featuring the Daleks or the cybermen is always a winner in my book. 🙂 Right episode, but that was a Christopher Eccleston episode. "Blink" was an excellent episode! My sister and I are both freaked out by the Weeping Angels! Daleks and Cybermen are classic but frightening. If it's not frightening at some point, it really isn't a good episode of Doctor Who!

I don't think I still have it...but I could redo it on a canvas if you wanted me to. You'd have to send me a photo of it, because I don't remember what it looks like. You deleted that masterpiece!? I thought we were friends.... We ARE friends. But that was hand-drawn, and it might have gotten torn up. Or it might be somewhere deep in the recesses of my old artwork that I did for fun. It was (good grief) fifteen years ago! As for the photo I had of it, that was two computers ago, and though I still have the hard drives, it would be a large undertaking just to see if I still had the photo. Would it really be that difficult to download the image from the forum and send it to me?

I figured it was a souvenir, a memento, of how awesome I am and how glad you are that we met. I can easily send it to you. But it's more fun to rag on you.

Ah yes, you're right---it was with Christopher Eccleston, who only stayed around one season, but still managed to be one of the most memorable----and best (in my opinion)----Doctors! Haha, indeed. The Daleks and cybermen may look a bit cheesy by today's standards, but they still manage to this day to be genuinely frightening! 😄

I hate getting my eyes dilated. The lack of depth perception makes me feel like I'm on drugs.

I hate getting my eyes dilated. The lack of depth perception makes me feel like I'm on drugs. Get Lasik. Even with insurance, that'd cost money we don't have. I'm cool with contacts/glasses. And I'd probably still have to get my eyes dilated every so often anyways.

Pilot:
Ralph: I can't just fly up there and hover like a moth!
Less than 5 minutes later: *hovers like a moth after running the president's helicopter off*

But Ralph doesn't know what he can and can't do! He actually figured things out pretty quickly.

Maybe he just needed the floodlight instead of the light bulb.
