What's the other half? *Glaring stare from Miss D* 1/16 Seminole Indian, 1/8 French. . . and I guess the rest is just good old American.

I take it you've been watching Remington Steele lately. Have the first season myself, and I really enjoy watching it. My favorite ep in that season that involves sleeping and such, and poor Remington has to pretend to be an insomniac. It's a funny episode, and it ends rather well. (And... I really wish they had kept Brosnan over Craig for "James Bond." Yes, Craig fits "Casino Royale" all right given all the stuff Bond went through, but Brosnan is by far one of the best if not best Bonds there has been IMHO. But, then again... he was considered back in the days of "Steele" but Roger Moore ended up taking the reins at the time. ) *Sigh* No. I don't yet own any season of Remington Steele. I plan to, though. What with my birthday coming up in a couple of months. . . . . .and it would be a good way to spend my stimulus check ;D They're a bit vanilla (not many extras as far as I remember), but they do use the proper first season titles where Laura's talking about how she got into the business and how Steele came into her life. I don't know if the remainder of the seasons have the popular Mancini theme (the real bright version, not the noir-style of the first season). One thing I did find out - if nothing else for HD's interest - Mancini also composed a theme song for one of Connie's shows: "Hotel."

* I own season one of THAT show, as HD calls it*
It may be a bit vanilla. . .but it still has Pierce Brosnan.
So I don't care ;D

Florida is nice. It's really interesting because a good deal of the roads out there are fenced..
Have fun. ;-) I bet Florida is nicer than Texas right now.

Thanks guys!
I won't get a chance to go to DisneyWorld, but I WILL be going to Universal Studios.
I'm getting my picture taken in front of that huge globe. ;D
And it's a shame that the old Nickelodeon Studios is now The Blue Man Group show (*GAG*).
But hey. I'm going just the same. ;D

I'll let you know how it is . . .though I'm pretty sure I won't be getting on any roller coasters. Edited to say: Miss D doesn't like having her stomach wrapped around her spine several times.

TURKEY!!! Chicken=never having been on a roller coaster. I've been on two. The Carolina Twister (Carowinds, 1988) and the Wayne's World Hurler (1998). You may say that I'm due for a roller coaster ride. I may say to bite me. (Exempt, of course, is HD. He'd enjoy it too much! )

Yes, I would. I love anything that you give me, Miss D. So you are overdue for your next spine twisting adventure? I think you should have to go on several to make up the interest.

As for the Hurler, I put that in the same group as Thunder Road... Don't ride it now, never rode it before and never will ride it. I'm not too fond of rides that have steep drops, though I rode the Top Gun coaster one a couple years ago. Glad I did that. To ride the Hurler, you've got more guts than I do Miss D!

Thanks, Claye, for the correction, it WAS the Carolina Cyclone (and I hated it!!!) I didn't mind the Hurler, since it didn't go upside down. Claye, you sound like my opposite: you don't mind going upside down but the steep drops are too much!
