I never watch reality shows but had to give this one a try. Sure, it's obviously scripted in places, but there's one thing this "reality" show has that others don't...players are judged on courage, integrity, honesty, and putting others before themselves--unlike other shows, in which players battle to see who can be the biggest backstabbing, conniving, two-faced manipulator. ;D The odds-on favorite is "Major Victory", who sports an outfit that is reminiscent of Ralph's color scheme (though most likely coincidental, as the hero has been described online as a mixture of Superman and William Shatner). www.scifi.com/superhero/

I don't have cable, but I doubt I would give it a try anyway. I am sure the show has some pitch that makes it different, but any show promoted as a reality show does not do the trick for me. Most of them are inevitably bad.

This one, from the bit they did on the Tonight Show, with the prelims, is too funny. I don't get cable either, but you have to see some of these outfits to realize that there are some strange ideas out there. Not to mention the women think they have to wear next to nothing and the men tend to be a little more silly in their choices. Have to admit, from appearances, however, this guy does have a chance. And, I like the premise as well.

I think the premise is new and different...and I have only seen a couple of the costumes and the like, but it just sounds TOO cheesy to be a big hit. Of course, SCIFI can get away with that better than the major networks I suppose.

If anyone (with hi-speed internet, anyway) is interested, Sci-Fi's website has the current episode (#2) posted on their website for free viewing. www.scifi.com/superhero/video/Main challenge: help an old lady who's locked herself out of her house. Just cross her backyard and open the back door. That's all. Oh by the way, there are two vicious K-9 attack dogs guarding the yard. ;D This one was too funny.

"Cops" is the only reality show I'll do.
That dude's costume is just too much like Ralph's IMO.

I hate ALL reality shows...I think. I like some of the old ones like CANDID CAMERA because that was funny.

The only one I liked from start to finish was the Mole. It was really the only one I've seen where your smarts decided your fate. I also liked "Murder in Small Town X" but that one's got bittersweet memories now because the series' winner, a firefighter from New York, died on Sept. 11, a couple of days after it was announced he won.
The rest, I'm meh on right now, more because I don't get to watch it much. At least we've got classic shows to watch now on DVD.

Not to mention the weird arch she has in her feet wearing the boots.

That's all it will take? A Minute?
Even old uncle Bill can last an hour or two...
He needs to stop making collect calls to me... damn.

Well, the call-in to VOTE for her will only take that long. Our after hours calls are something COMPLETELY different.

You should see episode three... Stan is truly Stan "The Man" Lee in this one as he throws all the heroes a super curveball.
The mission: go to the deli around the corner and buy lunch you think your superhero would eat. That's all.
Well, not really. The twist was classic!
OWNED!!!

Had to be fun for Monkey Girl (if she's still on. I only can read stuff on the FORT site), as she probably couldn't have a banana sandwich. (Come to think of it, she did end up on the Tonight Show too when they did that segment. It was a pretty good storyline, and she might do well too).

I love how you take every opportunity you get to post this pic. I saw in one of the ads... one of the women has donuts as part of her costume. Lord help us all.

That would be "Fat Momma"...scourge of bullies everywhere. The show gave everybody a custom costume makeover, and hers looks like they threw in some jibes at "Wonder Woman" with a star motif and a V-shaped trim that vaguely resembles the "W". Subtle...real subtle. Considering the way these shows are run, I would not be surprised if she lost, and I also would not be surprised if she won.
