Well, that is what happens when you have too much free time. Bill wouldn't look at that garbage anyway. How did YOU find it, Josie? Out there foolin' around again instead of pitchin' in here.

Do you know how hard it was for me to find those Rip Taylor photos? Hours and hours... especially the one in the sheet. That's my special favorite.

Speaking of drivel, where have you been? Watching Kos give Bill a rubdown. You were so busy with Rip, he left. And I am always around...you are just never here. As for drivel, I must have missed you earlier, my eyes were so full of water from your posts.

BTW - It is on my netflix queue.... Way up high, I hope. BTW, the ladies here should like this one. It was made soon enough after "GAH" that Culp still looks just like Bill Maxwell, yet he has a hip, mid-eighties haircut. While we're Netflixing Culp, might I recommend this classic, both starring and directed by him? www.netflix.com/MovieDisplay?movieid=60037791&trkid=181036&strkid=1698522429_0_0Too bad "Hannie Caulder" www.imdb.com/title/tt0068675/ isn't available on DVD. It's Classic Cowboy Culp. It's on TV once in a while, keep an eye on your local listings.

Have no idea where to put this, so I might as well stick it here. I like the subject line, and it should be resurrected often. ;D
HEY! CONGRATS TO MAC! La Moderatista Nueva!

As a professional (and classically trained) interpreter of Spanish/English ( www.joshuamaxgoldberg.com), I feel compelled to point out that the Spanish word for "( female) moderator" is " moderadora"; diminutive: " moderadorita". In all fairness, on the job and on the fly, I have been known to make up many a new word myself from time to time. One of my favorites is " desfrenar". Don't bother looking it up; it doesn't exist. I was under pressure and couldn't think of the correct thing to say, and this completely non-existent word just popped into my head and I went with it. As soon as it passed my lips, I realized that I had just invented a new word.

I combined my mascot from high school (which I played my senior year), and my favorite hobby (juggling) together. I do like the bit with TigreModeradora right now as an AKA though as I can't think of anything beyond what I have as my title (Apprentice Warlock)

Cheers! [/tt]
Thanks Jo... but I hope this drivel doesn't make you eyes water. Well a new day dawns as far a life. New year is about to come around when I turn another year older and wiser. Fortunately, what I learned in the past year has been good stuff and very little drivel. Well, save the fact I can wear a pinafore, petticoat and blouse in 100 degree heat with a second degree sunburn right on the shoulderblades... and in the wrong place.
Things have been going well, save the guy who had a certain rooster in a tight bear hug because he grew up on the character. Later on that night, had to sing in one of those new fangled Karaoke contests.
Did well, but got beat out (barely) by a guy who actually dressed and played the part. Still, "Blue Suede Shoes" and dancing the pony was good enough to to finish just behind the guy.Also... Right now, if I reply in one of your posts by mistake guys... Please tell me that I goofed and to please repost as a quote.

Hey, J-Man, done that, too! For a while, the small town of Fossola, Italy, was exposed to the Italian verb "gelatare" - to eat ice cream. "Sta notte, gelatiamo!" (Oh boy, I probably mutilated that. It's been so long...)
Actually, I am sorry for mutilating the language. All in fun... And so sorry, I don't mean to step on anyone's professional toes... then again, when someone steps on my professional toes, you may here it... although if that ever happened, I think The Shock Would Kill Me!
So, I bet you really liked the "Vanity" episode... or all those other times Bill mutiliated Spanish...
And my favorite, from CiEP "No speaka da English? Ah, you do speaka da English!"

Speaking of Spanish, there's been a few times I've worked at the park and gotten some funny responses. One day when I was an escort, there was a little kid who called Foghorn Leghorn "Pato" (duck). I gently corrected him and said, "No, es gallo" (rooster). The family all taught him Fog was gallo, so the little boy learned a new animal. Still, better he was called duck than a pidgeon (which he's been called. ) Favorite still is someone calling Bugs -"Mickey Mouse" Or, the Spanish teacher who said to stop by after class to count me pregnant. I say "Estoy avergonzada (embarrassed)." And she said "Did I just call you pregnant?" Yes... but even then I didn't say "Soy embarrazada."
