FUN FACT: Belinda Carlisle's middle name is JO! Jo <--> Carlisle Carlisle <--> Jo Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Wikipedia also mentions The Go-Go's liasions with female groupies, so she has something else in common wi... actually, I think I'll go explore this on another board instead. Ever since I learned Wikipedia can be edited by anyone and his cousin, I take what I read on there with a grain of salt. Maybe some disgruntled groupie-wannabe put that in. I heard Belinda Carlisle, IRL, is a complete . I Just don't trust sites like that, Only sites I trust are Offical Sites from The Actor/Actress/Singer/Music Group, etc, etc.

I couldn't see it...I have a problem with YouTube here at home because the virus blocker stops FLASHPLAYER from working.

I LOVED the closing credits of Match Game GAH - Episode One!
I'm glad you didn't neglect (sings) Rice-a-roni, the San Francisco Treat!
(We're so old... I bet the younguns have no idea what you mean by this...)
And, of course, the WACKY SNACKY!!

I liked that one, but I've also got some jingles in my head no one would remember, like Golden Girl and the Guardians of the Gemstone" I had Golden Girl and Jade, sis had Sapphire. Ruby and Onyx were hard to find, and Mom wouldn't let us get the bad guys. Not only that, I remember all the ones to "She-Ra" as well... (Sees someone reach for a trout.) Uh... sorry, I got into rambling mode. The closing credits were great, and look forward to the next show.

I still don't understand why Bill would tell Pam to SNACK Ralph and then make a fist.

I still don't understand why Bill would tell Pam to SNACK Ralph and then make a fist. I can't either. It's true, I've always maintained it's "snacky." I've never said I know why it'd be that, but it is. (Boy, some day, if I'm ever convinced it's really "smacky," I'm going to be so embarrassed. See the MGGAH thread where I was convinced I'd dethrone Lauren's greatness.)

And then when you didn't, you admitted it and moved on. Don't you think it is time for that to happen with THIS too?

It's "black," it's "snacky." I'll maintain this till my dying day (or until I hear differently on something super-high-quality like a Bose.)

Ok, BW. It must be fun to live in your little world....
I know it's fun in mine... You know, I will swear till my dying days that Bill says, in Lilacs, Mr. Maxwell, "I never wanted anybody before... not since my exwife..."

It's smacky. I've heard it as such since I first watched the ep. The only time I've heard something different and see the captioned text is wrong is when Pam supposedly calls Ralph "Bill" in "Newlywed Game" but she really says "Ralph" or "Uh, Walph" (accidentally slurring the two words together slightly.)

Oh, I know everyone else on the board THINKS it's smacky, Mel. But it's snacky. I know it doesn't make sense for it to be snacky, but it is. I thought maybe he was alluding to the doggie snacks or something at the same time. Maybe there's some hidden hippie meaning like in "Oh wow, the beez!" like Mona so diligently researched (kudos on that, by the way, Mona!) I know, that doesn't make sense either, I'm just blithering now, so I'll cease and desist.

I know, that doesn't make sense either, I'm just blithering now, so I'll cease and desist. It's wacky smacky, just heard it today on my computer's DVD player clear as a bell. The only way I can think of what could make it sound like "Snacky" is that he does it in a sing-song voice. My guess is he does it that way is because Starlett's getting on his last nerve and he had a rough nightsleep full of cat naps and the like. But, since this is Jo's thread, I'm going to change the subject. I'm looking forward to watching/playing episode two of Match Game, GAH. It's brought back several people and new members have joined in on the fun. It's fun because we're also introducing some to the show but not in quite an in-your-face type of way. Not that it's a bad way to do that, but it can help keep people interested in the show.
