I'm probably in the minority, but I mean if the suit is from outer space aliens, you would think there'd be the occasional alien threat. I just wish the few there were had been better realized if they were going to do a full monster. The only one of the three big alien threats - Beast, Electric Monster and Carrie, only the Beast in the Black was the most effective because you never got a full assessment of what he looked like. The possession in Beast never bothered me as I felt it allowed the concept of the show to stretch into another area. The Shock will Kill You I hated when first broadcast, even at just 15 years old. While aliens did give Ralph the suit, I did NOT want to see aliens pop up on the show, or see World War III every week. It wasn't until a few years later that I came to appreciate the comedy in Shock. Heck I watched it so few times on the tapes I made during the original airing that the episode looked as if it was recorded yesterday even after 20 years.

However given the roadblocks that hindered the show, I'm glad we have the amount of episodes that were produced. Indeed! Didn't they even force the show to go head-to-head against the mighty Dallas at one point?

Yup, and Dallas was huge, I remember my mother watching it all the time.
Regarding the Best Desk Scenario episode though, I will say, it was a little strange for the school to allow the students to vote on who they wanted as Vice Principal. Tony doesn't seem too nervous when he comes to the office, lol.

I guess too he figured it was temporary anyway, i.e. a filler until the new one was hired, so why worry? Then again - Knight himself was a bit odd IMHO.

Was Ralph ever referred to as Vice Principal again or was that storyline forgotten about??

I never heard any reference to his stint as Vice Principal again. Though in my headcanon, he went on to become principal after Mr. Knight had to resign amidst some sort of juicy scandal.
