Every design begins with an idea, you have it made then you go out and test it, get feedback and adjust accordingly. So, to answer your question, the first version ("original design") was our starting point. "Collazo" OK, then why did you not do a smaller scale version of the suit or do a cheaper mock up of the suit back when you were doing the version that White wore in the pics we saw before she left and then McKinley's version? Or, why not use the original two suits (Ralph and Holly) for the basis, as the final version ended up your version is a stylized form of Holly's from "GAHeroine." You would've saved money that way - only thing I think you could've used from the original version Erin White wore was the cape. The rest of it was that pressed leather (whatever type) epaulette style top with the tiny suit emblem, the suede vest, and regular spandex leggings. Even a scale version you could've taken a pic, posted it up online and gotten feedback that way as we did earlier on via the iPhone blogs.

Design takes a life of its own when you begin the process. We began with the first version and as time went on and we kept tweaking the suit until we settled on our three transformation designs. As far as using the original suit, I only have this to say, watch the webisodes and that question will be answered. And to say we ended up with a stylized version of Holly's suit is your opinion, you have not seen the end result of the suit. Please don't ask to see it because that is a plot arch and I am not willing to go into detail. Your comment on saving money if we "would of" or "could of" is in my humble opinion speculation on your part. We kept tweaking it until you we were happy with it. Money was never an issue when it came to the suit. As far as your feedback on the first version of the suit, I personally read all the postings, blogs and bulletins and from there I heard what everyone wanted, but, the reality is this, if I wasn't happy with a particular design keeping to the original feedback but yet keeping with our storyline, any additional feedback is irrelevant. "Collazo" Holly's suit: Morgan's suit (current): It is IMHO stylized - even now. It's not spandex like Holly's was - yours is lambskin with spandex in the joints and crotch. And it has a design in the material while Holly's is just plain. I do not have the pic of the original you showed as it was removed and couldn't be saved. That one, however was highly stylized: cutouts at the hips, the pressed leather epaulets that combined with the suede vest created a keyhole at the chest, no sleeves and the pants, belt and shoes. And, I wouldn't ask to see the final result because I'm sure I'll see it eventually whether or not I watch the show. Three versions huh? - well, glad you like transformation stuff too. And, we've seen two versions already (admittedly the first version that White wore might not be used). But the only way I'm speculating (giving an opinion) about wasting money on the suit is if you used the first version or not. But, the design wasn't just "tweaked" - so far the current design was an overhaul over the one we originally saw White in. I actually was one of the few that liked the original version of the suit you made, but would miss the old ones that Ralph and Holly wore. But, if it's your choice to change it, I'm sure it fits your storyline well.

Morgan's suit (current): The suit looks good, I miss the designed/textured shoulder pads though, gave the suit a little something of its own.

Hey all, I love the idea of anything new that has to do with TGAH, even if its a girl in the red suit. By the way, I love the suit, the onlyh change would be for her to ware the belt just a little bit higher .. other than that ... I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!
Who ever this Collazo guy is ... YOU ROCK for bringing somehting fresh to a series that was dead. I just wish I could have been a apart of it. Heck I was 11 years old when it came out back in 1981 and still remains my favorite show todate.
For all you na sayers out there who said NOOOOO to the new Battelstar Gallactica at first and now were all saying NOOOOO do not cancel, please tell us this is not the last season! So see, change could be good. Have an opened mind and give it a chance.

"Dead series?" I think it's pretty alive & well here, don't the rest of you think so? I do. I think if it weren't for the fans of the original series, Katt wouldn't bother with literally flying in for the TV Land Awards. And I hate the new Battlestar Galactica. I don't think that should have been messed with, either. *No offense meant to those of you who do enjoy it. To each his/her own.*

Its great to finally get on a board to discuss the same show. Yeah, I have seen every episode 10 time each. The only thing that stuck me odd was the pilot episode for The Greatest American Heroin where the suit is completely different from Ralph's. I mean, it was all shinny and was missing the boot tops, or stripes I guess and she seemed to have a onezee on and not a shirt/pants Jammies like Ralph. and oh yeah, she has a turtleneck. Am I the only one who thought that was kinda strange? 1 last thing ... how in the world do you post a pic ... I pushed the insert image button and all I got was this ... [/img]

Your profile says you joined a few months after me! Glad you de-lurked. As for the suit in Heroine. Yeah it was very altered from Ralph's outfit. I personally haven't watched Heroine and honestly don't want to with the reactions to it I've read on here.

Yeah it was a prety bad time in TGAH history, but still, it was kinda neat to see the little green guys again. They even used the same footage from other episodes to save money. It seems that it was a very popular thing to do in the 80's. I guess the production cost back then were high, but the budget was low. I joined and then forgot all about it until I read abou the webisode move coming out in July and had to jump on line and find out more. I'm still trying to find a tylor to make me a suit for Holloween ... still no luck.

Best thing to do, other than a tailor to get an exact measurement for a suit would be to go to 80stees.com They've got a great GAH costume there. I've bought one and wore it at the Halloween party here. Pretty good outfit.

I don't mind spending a little money to do it. Nobody out there makes them BTW .. my spelling stinks and I type fast and spell things phonetically ... strange huh ... the word phonetically spelled differently then it sounds. Anyways, how do you post a pic on here?

First you need a place to put the picture you wanna show off: www.photobucket.comThen upload your picture there & get the address for the pic (here's the copy part!) Next come back here & post a reply/topic Paste that address you copied, then highlight it & click the little image button in the "add Tags" section. Finally click "Post" & you should be all set.
