Okay, here is the deal... As everybody is now aware, there is a new movie that will be produced now that Stephen Cannell has finished the script. This being the case, we are all wondering if the creator of this character will keep to a major part of the shows success ... the red jammies. Simple but yet powerful in its simplicity. No fancy rubber like material. Or any need to go with a trend of any kind. The suit was easy to fold away and put in a briefcase and plyable enough to scrunch up and put it all under your arms as you sped away to put in on behind a bush. My only hope is that they do not change the suit. For the love of all that is holy ... listen to the fans!!!! IF IT AINT BROKE...

Definitely no new suit: No single piece outfit, no leather, hard plastic, shiny stuff, etc. Just a simple two piece dull red spandex suit that looks like it's pajamas and a cape. I've never liked any version of the suit except the original one (with or without collar is regardless) - including the shiny version Katt wore in "GAHeroine." Butterfingers pretty much summed up the reasons why: easy to bundle up and hide if need be (well, also in embarrassment). The charm was that the suit looked silly but in this case it has real superhero powers, not these souped up suits with muscles and such. It's supposed to look like something that anyone can make for Halloween, and if you wear it any other day of the year, people are supposed to wonder. I agree - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I agree that the suit worked best in its simplicity. However, I think it should be updated a little bit...just like how JJ Beck said it had changed.

Yeah he did mention that "the suit was the same but different in many ways" Well, they will have to keep it red and the same fabric. Maybe just add somemore black into it. WAIT ..... what the heck am I saying .... the is not a new guy getting the suit ... it will still be Ralph ... SO NO NEW SUIT ... NO CHNAGES ... Now, if it was a new person getting the suit then yes, they would have to chage it.

There is no guarantee that a new person will not be getting it. Until we know more about the script, we can guess I suppose.
I would update the suit so that it lasted longer. Even Ralph's suit went through changes over the three seasons and in HEROINE. I think they should make it more durable, even if that means making it less pajama-like...and maybe even a little baggier on the wearer.

I didn't like the suit that was in the first couple of episodes. But from that to before Herione was the best suit. I hated that fact that he had that silver outline around the neck. It always distracted me for some reason.

Not a very aero-dynamic design by the Little Green Guys, then! Nah, keep it as is. The whole idea was that it looked a bit OTT & all but ruined Ralph's life. Feel the love. dolfyn.

Just a longer cape would be nice.

I agree on the longer cape... but not sure about "bagginess." Ralph's version didn't quite fit him to a "T" at times (the tunic sometimes bunched up or the spats were baggy. Making it extra even baggier could make it look bad instead of silly.
Holly's did fit her like a glove (wasn't fond that it became a one piece though - made it look bad), as did the first Morgan Hathaway suit. And, if I recall correctly - the second outfit that was worn by the new Morgan was noticeably baggy and people didn't like it because it looked a little sloppy.

To sum it up: There was an attempt to do a fan film called "TGAH 2008" (or "The Greatest American Hero Web series"). I was a continuation from "GAHeroine," except it's present day and Holly was murdered. Morgan was her biological daughter, and she takes over the suit from her mom - from what I understood she finds it. But, long story, short version: only five minutes were shown of it (never any scenes with her in the suit) and it disappeared shortly after the "GAH" comics were announced. No one knows exactly what happened or why (though I have a guess).

I think I detect a hint of sarcasm from Mortimer. I sound the same way when I ask "Holly who?" ;D

Given Mortimer isn't her too often (BTW, welcome back Mortimer), I figured just better safe than sorry. Now... one thing, I'll recognize Holly before the other gal, but... OW!... what was I saying? Hol... Hol.... Wait, this isn't "Red Dwarf." Why am I talking about Hol... I like the Cat and Kryten the most, then Hol.
