So who's in line if Cannell & company decide to go hi-def with TGAH Blu-Ray DVD release?

Unless it adds something that we don't already have, I probably won't. I will only switch to that if it is the only option to watch things anymore.

I am the same I will only switch if that is the only way to watch things. Of course if he puts all the original music , the episode teasers, some more extra's, like bloopers, commentary etc then I would consider it.

Ms. B,
I so agree with your wish! HOO BOY! If we ever got to see bloopers from the show! There must have been some great ones.

That seems to be the way some of the hi-def releases are going. Additional material is added, to make it more attractive to people who have already purchased the series on standard DVD. I would love to see more bloopers. I have one lone blooper from the show. The clip was broadcast on one of the D-i-c-k Clark blooper shows.

I'm trying to make sure I've got it right - is it the one from "It's All Downhill From Here" and one of the actors misses their mark stopping on the skis or something? I agree though - I think they should've at least added some bloopers to the DVD collection when they came out. Might've made the third season collection even better (well, at least from vanilla bean to homemade vanilla. )

This will never happen, BUT...
If they were to restore all the original music to GAH and provide extras (even if that just meant teasers and bloopers), I'd completely switch my system over to Blu-Ray - no question in my mind at all.
(that said, it'll never happen - lol)

I'm trying to make sure I've got it right - is it the one from "It's All Downhill From Here" and one of the actors misses their mark stopping on the skis or something? Yes, it is from that 2nd season episode. It's the scene featuring Katt and Sellecca as they watch Templeton get shot. Katt removes his hat and jacket, as Sellecca pulls the tucked in cape out for him to put on. Katt fails to find the hook for the cape, and keeps searching all the way around the outer edge for it. They both start laughing, as Sellecca playfully slaps him on the arm. He eventually holds the cape around his neck laughing, as he leaps off the screen. One TV guide article mentions another blooper. It would have been from The Shock Will Kill You. It's the last scene in the episode which shows Ralph tripping over all the burned out junk laying on the living room floor. He falls onto Sellecca's lap, and they have a quick kiss. While shooting the scene, he trips on cue, falls into her lap, and instead of giving her the kiss he stops short and calls for a stunt double..... ;D

All I know is that they use DVD's that are smaller than the current ones, which were the successors to the record player sized DVDs that I saw for the first time in high school... which wasn't that long ago. Beyond that, I've heard they're supposedly better than the DVDs we currently have - something like higher definition or something to that effect.

I have a DVD/VCR player that's about 6 years old, but I have no plans to switch to Blu-Ray any time in the near future. I tend not to jump onto new technology straight away (which meant I wasn't caught out by the whole HD-DVD vs Blu-Ray thing). However, if TGAH had a special Collectors' Edition release on Blu-Ray, complete with some commentaries & bloopers/gag reels & restored original music, I'd be running out immediately to buy a Blu-Ray player!! The extras are half the reason I love the DVD format in the first place! Feel the love. dolfyn. ;D

You know, I'm supposedly in the generation that's supposed to be the ones who know what these things are, and I can't even get the names straight. Thanks greenguy. Remember the first time I saw one of those though - it was in science class for some sort of lesson. Then again, come to think of it though, the last time I saw something on a film projector in class was my driver's education class (at the time we could take it at the school and for credit). The teacher liked those drunken driving programs than the video ones - and they were effective too.

I probably wouldn't buy it again in Blu-Ray, but never say never, eh?
