Shoot! It's so easy to get those two characters mixed up!

I think it plausible to have Michael Pare still playing the character. I can believe that Tony never graduated and was not smart enough to realize that he did not have to continue through graduation.

I think they'd kicked him out before he was in his 40s. That said... I don't know if they'll have a Tony, or for that matter other members of the class. From what I understand, the comics are going to take the focus away from Ralph's teacher duties. If they did have a Tony character, I don't know who would fit the role. I'd like it to be someone though who didn't try to sex up the character. Tony was handsome in his own way yes... but he's more of the James Dean type than the current bad kid we see in today's TV shows.

Then I am not looking that forward to the comics. Part of what made the show great was the balance between work and family and the suit. If the comics are taking the more third season approach, I do not think they will be as good. I still say Pare could do the Tony character.

I should clarify my statement and say not make it as much of a primary focus, but it's not going to totally go away, based on what I've seen of the ashcan. Pare as far as I've read at least has been contacted to voice Tony in the animated shorts. Does that at least count?

I still think that it will seem similar to the third season and that is not the best season in terms of the show. I liked the teacher responsibilities.

When the show originally aired, I also thought of "Tony" as just a "Barbarino" clone and really didn't pay much attention to him. I only started to notice him after "Eddie and the Cruisers". I think it would be great if he could do the voice over.

I think it would be great if he could do the voice over. After hearing him voice Sparks in said comic's animated series, I'm hoping too that he'll go and voice Tony for the animated shorts. It'd be neat if they could get all four of the main teens to voice their prospective characters, though we don't know what Don Cervantes has been up to lately.
