Apparently the theme for the opening of tonight's episode is doing stunts from the MTV show jack*ss.. They cut to a scene with Peter dressed in the red jammies and a blonde wig. He was on roller skates (I think) and was being pulled via rope by the family station wagon. He rolled off a bike ramp as he sang the theme song. Did the usual Ralph flying awkwardly thing and hit a tree. I'm hoping someone will post it on youtube so I can link it on here. Very funny! ;D ;D

^ I'll have to keep an eye out for that episode. ;D Do you realise that there's a whole generation out there now, who are old enough to get a lot of the jokes in Family Guy, but have no idea about TGAH or The A-Team or the original Star Wars films, etc?! It makes me feel old.... Feel the (elderly) love. dolfyn.

It was funny for their short minute or two reference of pop culture. Not sure what else they could've done other than maybe him crash into several things, or maybe have a spoof of Katt and or Culp. I was surprised they even did this actually.

I think the ROBOT CHICKEN one was better.

It's not a bad parody, and I love how Peter looks like Ralph flying (complete with crashes). It shows that they did pay attention to detail as far as "GAH" based on the costume Peter wore and the way his hands are flying around as he's "flying" - as well as the crash. That said, I still think the one they did to "the A-Team" was better, because there were more people involved in it and the characters were also well matched up to the A-Team characters they spoofed.

Then you need to rewatch the A-TEAM, Mel.

Then you need to rewatch the A-TEAM, Mel. They were better matched up IMHO than Peter as Ralph. Besides, they were spoofing a show's tendency to shoot a lot of things to pieces but no one get killed (at least on screen. ) Still think it was funny that they used the machine guns to chop down the tree to get the cat. ;D

Not that I know of. It was linked here for a while, but the footage was taken down. You could probably search for it online and find it, but it might be on a site other than YouTube, Ms. B. Mel: That's your problem. You think they were better matched for the A-TEAM over Ralph. That's just not the case.

Well... I do like both of the parodies regardless. Then again, I'm also one that liked the "Logan's Run" spoof they did, even though it didn't quite make sense.

Did they spoof the movie or the short lived tv series? I would presume the movie based on they remembered the lifeclocks - Brian is running through the mall (OK, I call it a mall because it was filmed in a "new" mall at the time in Dallas), where a bunch of people wearing the outfits they use in the move are milling about. He looks at his hand and sees his lifeclock is flashing (He is wearing red). The Sandmen finally corner him, and I think he quips about his age and that he's too young (well, if he was 21 or 30 - based on the book or movie - he's only 3 or nearly 4 years old in human years. ). It's on YouTube, but I don't have the link right now.

family guy is gone from you tube. copyright. Ah, that would explain it (tried for about an hour to find it). So, I guess it won't be around on YouTube greenguy, but the description above is pretty much what it was. :-\ That said, it was short and sweet, but very close to the movie and books than the TV series, since they didn't have the lifeclocks in that version.
