Which is a shame.
I think the Ralph/Bill dynamic is good as it is, especially when they have different ways of doing things. But I hate that they had Ralph whine all the time. Why not just more of him like he is in SATURDAY where he is taking charge in the opposite way of Bill. To me, that was always more entertaining.

Well if we're talking about SATURDAY, the Ralph/Bill dynamic moment that I liked was after Pam was kidnapped and Bill has to snap Ralph out of his funk and then stop him from panicking, "You've gotta deal from strength, Ralph." In a lot of ways Ralph doesn't know how to do that yet, because he doesn't have faith in himself that he will come through in the end. That's why he needs Bill to tell him it doesn't matter if he's feeling weak, he has to act from strength. I like those moments that aren't just about Ralph learning how to be a super hero, but also learning about himself.

He might have been whining internally, but he was not so vocal about it and THAT is what really makes me like this episode. I can take a frustrated Ralph that is learning about himself and the suit, but I get tired of the whiner.

Well I'll meet you half way, I agree that if the whining had stayed as bad as it was in "Here's Looking At You," it would have gotten old quickly, lol.

Agreed. That's why I love character developing ones like SATURDAY so much. It was very tempered.
