Greenguy, The forum's anniversary is next year. It will have been around for 20 years! Are we (or you) doing anything special to celebrate!?

I'd like to, but I'm not sure what I would do.
It's amazing to me that I've had this darn thing since 1998...LOL

It would be great to do some sort of interactive thing...maybe with a bunch of us watching episodes at the same time.

Play I-Spy with the episode? Easter Eggs you have found for the series or other SJC series? All kinds of games we could play in a chatroom or shoutbox for the occasion.

I'm still learning the new Proboards system. (I say new because of my long hiatus). But does it have an email all feature still? If so, once we get some things laid out, maybe you could shoot one out...?

I'm in for whatever you guys decide to do for the anniversary year----I'll be there! Wow, I had no idea that you had created the TGAH site in 1998, Greenguy! That's an achievement to be proud of! Especially that you're pretty much the online keeper of the flame----I'm not aware of any other discussion board dedicated exclusively to TGAH, or even any other fan site. I intend to participate in any activities that you guys may plan. Watching a weekly episode as a group is certainly an easy but fun way to celebrate, since most (if not all) of us have all the episodes on DVD anyway, so it doesn't involve too much effort.

And by the way, if you guys need any help to organize, just let me know.

Oh, and are you able with Proboards to create a chatroom, GG? I know Yuku boards give that option to the administrator. If we had some kind of chatroom where we could discuss stuff in real time, we could be watching episodes at a specific time that we would all agree upon, and be able to chat about it as we're watching. That could be neat, maybe.

Yeah, the main site was started on GeoCities...LOL..if you remember that. Soon after I brought the main site live a fan offered to set me up with discussion board. He was a computer guy, and at the time I had no clue how forums had to be set up. So I took him up on it, and had that for years. Way back in the late 90's there were many fan pages about the show, but not a full blown site. Except, for other sites now that have a GAH page, I think I may be the last "stand alone" home for TGAH on the internet.

I was wondering about a Skype session with multiple users, I could turn my laptop towards my TV, and play episodes while we all chat about whats going on while watching the same feed. Although I'm not sure about how many people we can have at once. Some way to stream and chat would be great.

Go to unlimitedfrp.proboards.com and you can see one. I don't know if the forums still have chat options are not. I'm still learning my way around the new stuff they have added in the last few years. Skype can host several, but it might be tough to do that, depending on number. Plus, how would you participate?

Even if everyone was watching the episodes through the session from my laptop, I could still talk and everyone could hear me.

I'd love to win a huge lottery and throw a 40th Anniversary bash for the show. All come to your place for a long weekend and binge watch?
