So....any thoughts on the 5th season?
Hate it? Love it?
Bad dream?

I like elements of it.
Like most shows, there are episodes that I can't stand. QUARTERBACK SNEAK and THE CRYSTAL SKULL are two that top my list.
I like the addition of Stockwell, but am not as sure about Frankie.
I think it was a good way to try something new.
What about you, GG?

Yes, not a fan of either one of those episodes. Robert Vaughn's low key way of playing Stockwell worked for me. I was not a Frankie fan, no fault of Eddie Valez. It was just the way he was written, but he grew on me a little later on. He was annoying at first, and I really don't know why he was added. The trial scenes in the three part opener were pretty darn good, Byrne Piven was outstanding. I also thought the dream sequence with the three trying to escape was pretty haunting. The one time the plan really wasn't going to "come together" I give Cannell and company kudos for trying something new, while still staying within the framework of what was established. I also liked the way the show was played a bit more serious, or so it seemed to me.

I like how it feels like we get insight into Hannibal's character too. That he isn't really fly by his pants, but really does consider options.

When I think on it, I'm not a big fan of The Grey Team either. At least The Crystal Skull had the greenguys spaceship sound FX when Murdock walks across the hot coals...LOL

Plus, the tag scene is well done with just the four guys at the end.
