Why is he called Puma Man? Well heh, the idea is that the aliens are actually supposed to be Aztec gods and they give the guy the powers of a puma. And actually, the film was on Mystery Science Theater awhile back, and you REALLY want to see this one part at 1:08, lol: Greatest American Hero reference (1:08) www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mwg6h8FIrdk&feature=relatedAnd also here's a scene with Puma Man flying. Again I ask if this reminds you of anything. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHMPR7kXJak

Nice. I read about it after you mentioned it last time, but you said aliens and the description said South American gods.

I agree, but the description I read didn't say anything about aliens, so I was confused. ;D

Don't get me wrong, I think it has its moments. It's just your typical harmless B movie. Actually here's how one YouTube user described Puma Man: LOL. Well it is interesting how these two projects can be so alike yet so different at the same time. I guess the big difference is that Puma Man takes itself too seriously so you can't help but laugh at it. Whereas Greatest American Hero acknowledges how ridiculous the situation is from the beginning, lol.

True. I hate when shows take themselves seriously, especially when they could gain so much from the other avenue. That's why I like PSYCH.

And yeah comedy is taken for granted so often; people don't realize how difficult it is. When I watch "Devil in the Deep Blue Sea" when Ralph reveals his sketch of the sea monster, I was instantly reminded of an episode of Psych when Shawn reveals his sketch of the suspect and it's a dinosaur, lol.
