Grrr. . .I need to get my hands on a copy of that. . . I'd try Amazon.com, they have it last time I checked. I plan on getting a couple of movies there myself soon, and they usually have the obscure ones. Only three movies I've seen on sale at a store with Katt (Not inc. GAH) in a big role are "Butch and Sundance: The Early Years," "Carrie" and "Baby: The Secret of the Lost Legend." Also, shorter appearances, I think "Jawbreaker" was on sale as well somewhere.

I live in MA and haven't heard anything of Mr. Katt appearing around here, but I'll keep an eye out.Incidentally I've never met Micky Dolenz, but some friends and I did meet Davy Jones at a book signing something like 10 years ago.

By the way,I do remember seeing William Katt as Paul Drake in one of the Perry Mason movies they did in the 80s,in fact it may have been the first one they did.I don't know if he appeared in any others, but I do think its cool that he once again got to work with his mom.Anyone know which Perry Mason movie that was?I remember Katt as Drake was shot in it.

Katt was in 9 (out of 15) of the TV movies. The one you're refering to sounds like "Notorious Nun," which was the second of the series.

"Notorious Nun" does sound familiar, although I saw this in its original airing,so I can't be sure.I thought it was one of the first,if not the first,Perry Mason movie,so #2 sounds about right.I remember some of the dialogue at the end,it was a scene with Katt and Raymond Burr and went something like this: Drake "Well I've been shot,I did this, that and the other thing etc,and what do I get?" Mason "Thanks!" Drake laughs hysterically, end of film. I remember that I really enjoyed it at the time,I've always liked William Katt but I wasn't a faithful follower of Perry Mason.I liked the TV show and movies and did watch them occasionally, but it was nothing that I would seek out.By the way,did Katt's mom,Barbara Hale, play Della Street in all 15 movies, and why did Katt only appear in 9 of them? Was it the first 9 or were his appearances spread out? Also they made at least one movie after Burr died, with Monte Markham I believe (who played Mason in the TV series revival in the 70's while Burr was busy with Ironside).Did Katt or Hale appear in that one,and are you counting that one amongst the 15?Boy Lauren, you are a real resource for info about this stuff!I guess I should've paid more attention at the time. Also I should mention that I saw Katt in the video stage version of Pippin that I understand he did during the hiatus between GAH 1st and 2nd seasons.I rented it from our local video store because I was in high school at the time and our school was putting on Pippin.I was supposed to review it for the paper so I went, and ended up enjoying it so I rented the video later.I remember my first reaction was "The Greatest American Hero is playing Pippin!"

Yup, "Notorious Nun" is definitely the one you're thinking of. Hale was in all 15 of the movies (including the one(s) without Burr). Katt ended up getting the short-lived show "Top Of The Hill" & left the Mason movies. "Pippin" is a great production. I really enjoyed it. Well, JD, what can I say? I like the man & his endeavors, so I tend to have some relatively useless knowledge rolling around in my head at times. [shamless plug alert]I don't know if you noticed the link at the bottom of the main page, but I run the William Katt message board, if you're interested in joining in. That's usually where I share most of my useless knowledge. WK Fan Forum ---> kattforum.proboards82.com/

The William Katt "Andromeda" episode, "For Whom the Bell Tolls", will repeat on Wednesday morning on the Sci-Fi Channel (check local listings).

Just saw it too. I liked it, but true, the part wasn't that large. He played the part of a confused and worried father well I thought. Don't know, it might've been more interesting if he were the patient, but overall, I thought it was good and he looks great for his age too (as long as he keeps his hair short.)

Ack. 'House' was awful. I saw that on TV a couple months ago. I think he played the role the best he could for such a dull movie. Then someone said, why not make a bunch of sequels. Blah. Sheesh, think Katt reprises his original role in the 4th one...

It's about this grumpy doctor who gets all these high profile and seemingly impossible cases to solve. Katt played the dad of a kid who thought he had the healing powers of God.
