Don't forget the picture that's with the article! ;D OK, a bit OT, but you know, I know some say Katt looks bad for his age, but I think it's actually the reverse. For his age, he still looks handsome. I've seen several actors from the '70s and '80s either age very well or no. (I can give several examples of both). For some reason, I don't think a lot of today's actors will do as well, but that's my two cents. I'd love to go see this play, not just because he's in it, but it's also a farce and I've always enjoyed them. Unfortunately, even from Texas, it's just a tad too far for my budget. Also, it's pretty cool that they did a nice job on the story. I've seen reporters give older actors the cold shoulder as they're not "cool." You know, I'd much rather go to a play with actors such as those in "GAH" and other favs of mine from the '70s and '80s over movies with a majority of today's celebrities (and I'm referring more to those in their 20s-30s, not those with long careers). Ditto all that, preach on, & AMEN SISTER! ;D Ermm... yeah. (Btw, Um, yeah, I just wanted to get this pic posted AGAIN. )

You know, if I got my tax refund in the next couple of days, I might go get an oil change in my car, fill 'er up, and head down there. It would be SO cool to go see William Katt, live and in person. I could say that I actually was in the same building as him.
Right now I'm just bragging that I'm on the same coast as him. . .eastern. . .(southeastern to be exact)

I'm central Texas, but I've lived in the north, south, east and west of the state, so I guess I'm finally in the hub of the state. (Hope no one ever tries to use the divide it into five states (could do so, it's written in the Texas constitution) or I'll really get confused).

Feydeau lived in the era known as La Belle Époque, a time of financial growth, physical enjoyment, zest for life, lax morals, material indulgence and celebration of pleasure by the leisured classes. He became famous for focusing on the appetites and follies of that pampered class, particularly in the area of infidelity. Directed by Del Tenney and Kermit Christman, who also produced and adapted the play to a more modern version, "What a Night!" tells a madcap tale in the life of Fedot (William Katt ) who is married to Sophie (Andrea Conte) but having an affair with Francine (Kristina Parker) the wife of Chanal (John Carlile) his old school chum. Of course, Chanal finds out his wife is unfaithful but suspects the local magistrate, Coustouillu (David Hyland). Enter the "fly in the ointment," Madame Hubertin (Rae Randall), a card-playing friend of Chanal's who, in an alcoholic stupor, accidentally lets herself into the wrong apartment in her building, which happens to be where Fedot and Francine are meeting for their love romps. The drunken Madame Hubertin thinks strangers have taken over her apartment, manages to toss Fedot's clothes over the balcony, (where Ms B is there to catch them) pulls out a gun and begins shooting up the apartment, while Francine and Fedot run around in circles in their underwear. From there, the action takes on a Keystone Cops-similarity with characters and a policeman Germal (Dante Marelli) bursting in, followed by more gunshots, screaming and pandemonium. The scene ends with Coustouillu shouting, "What a night!" Act Two becomes even more conflicting as we meet Fedot's wife Sophie, her friend and admirer Belgence (Michael Peacock), the maid Cecile (Natasha Davidson), the barking lady who finds Fedot's clothes in the street Lapige (Maggie Dubois), Inspector Panteloup (Susan Emly), and a few Parisians who also cleverly change the scenery, Vincent Lardieri, Joe Lepore, Jim McConville and Jade Vandergraff. Principal players because of poor timing threw some of the more delightful punch lines away, but basically, the roles were very nicely handled by one and all. They were particularly by Katt, a seasoned veteran ("Greatest American Hero," "The Perry Mason Mysteries," "Carrie," "Pippin," "Big Wednesday" and "Twin Falls Idaho") who knows how to get the most out of every line. The art deco sets by Ann Cadaret, lighting by Daniel Gordon and colorful costumes by Anita Gordon add spice to the atmosphere, which resembles an old 1930s film on the Turner Classic Movies Channel. "What a Night!" is sheer madness, but great fun! Oh boy to see him running around in his undies.... It's a great pic too.

Yeah, dollface, but it's broads like you who make the job of private eyes like us harder... used to be you looked at a photo, and knew exactly what was there. It was crystal clear. It was all there, in black and white. Now, with all this color mumbo jumbo, with the photoshop, it makes our lives harder. Can't tell what's real, what not...

Well (to be said in a Mae West accent) What's a matter hon? (Ms B enters under a street light) Can't handle the technology? The pressure goes on and you slpit. And you call yourself a private dick. (She turns her head.)

Yep... sometimes I think they don't know which way to fall either. Juggling at the Relay early Saturday morning, they started to fall every which direction on the track. Good thing the HS uses Astroturf, or they'd gotten muddy.
