The way I've felt about it is that Katt played Skywalker one way (a little more tougher than on screen), and Hamill another. Hamill fit the best for the role based on the audition and what they wanted for the role. I don't think, based on the film, that one would've been better than the other, as Katt could've played Skywalker the way Hamill did (sometimes I think better... and I like Hamill in the role mind you, not bias). I don't think it was direction as it seems that Katt can take it well or his performances wouldn't have been as good as they are. If nothing else, again based on the performances I've seen, Hamill had the look they wanted for Skywalker over Katt. Hamill does have more of a country look to his face than Katt, and Skywalker was a farmer. Appearances are also a vital role in choosing the right person, so that probably was a big part. I do think though, no one at the time could've played Ralph other than Katt. He fit the role perfectly, and I remember him for more stuff on screen than I do Hamill. Overall, I think they chose the best people for the roles.

I guess I thought the interview was okay, but I would have liked them to ask a question or two ABOUT GAH...especially since they mention that this is one of the things he is BEST known for. I think it is great he let himself be interviewed and was actually pretty laid-back seeming for a celebrity (almost better than his DVD interview for GAH). I watched to the end...so?

I thought it was a good interview for an amateur one (this is because they're not doing this for a living. ) He did seem laid back more in this interview than the one for the DVD, and I think it was more because he didn't appear nearly as tired as he did that day. Does kid a bit about Lucas though and you can tell while he wished in part he got the role of Skywalker, he said that he wouldn't have been as good as Hamill. I think that shows class because anyone can play down another actor in a role that they wanted (you see this in Hollywood a lot), but he didn't. It'll be neat to see "Man from Earth" on the Sci-Fi Channel. Just wish they'd say when it'll be on so we can see it.

And the play he is doing onthe East Coast. I wonder where, East. It was taped in July or August, as he's mentioning the play rehearsing in September for an October release. I think it was "Romeo et Juliet" or a title very similar to that one.

I knew it was his B-day (but there's another reason why...), and they showed the "Walker, Texas Ranger" ep he was in tonight. The combo tv/vcr I have is wonky and sometimes eats tapes (if you play it), but for some reason record works... and it recorded without turning my tape into an Axon.

Sheeze! I couldn't get it to resize yesterday. I got a new computer so I have to move all my photos or else I would've done a more elaborate pic. I got photoshop in it so that is the important thing.

Mr Noir may be going... Hmmmm.... Won't get to go, mostly because I don't have vacation until October. If someone gets to go, give us a yell and tell us how things go.

Hmmmmmm... interesting... very interesting....
The Star Wars geek I live with is looking into going with his other SW friends, and renting a mini-van...
I didn't think I would want to go, but now... maybe....
Not to mention the Miss Klingon Empire Pageant.
