You know if it comes down to either changing the music or not releasing the dvd, I'll choose change the music every time. I'll 2nd that!

Yeah, I agree, but it's still important to write the letter to Cannell, if at all possible. And, personally, I didn't take MyTatuo's initial post in this thread as a slam to anyone who sold (or still sells) good quality copies of the show.
In fact, I'm eternally grateful that those copies were offered to me - good quality and not at too high of a price, ESPECIALLY now that I know the music was changed on certain episodes. Long live the DVD *and* the bootlegs in this case. A shame we still need both to have the complete G.A.H. 'package', but it is what it is...

Yeah and bootleggers helped keep this show alive all these years. He was just dis-ing those who preyed on fans and sold crap marketing them as 'master' copies.

[glow=red,2,900]Re-kindling this fire...[/glow] I'd just like to say what a complete and utter TOOL I think Cannell and his company are, not just for playing slash and burn on the GAH DVD release (and all their OTHER DVD releases, for that matter) with regards to the original music but also for not even bothering to reply to a single email or written letter sent to him about this matter.
No class. And no respect for the fans.

No class. And no respect for the fans. I feel the same way, as I'm going to have to call a paper I did some stringing for (outside work) and inquire as to why I havn't been paid yet. Shame you have to put your foot in the door and get it smashed by a buffalo before you have to listen. People should at least say "We apologize for the delay, but (whatever is wrong) has caused the problem. We will answer your question as soon as possible."
