If anyone is interested in 100% perfect quality (meaning the 'officially released' Japanese DVDs, which contain ALL the ORIGINAL music), episodes please contact me off-list at:

You know, that's really something I need to revisit as well. An AWESOME custom made CD was created my a friend Rich and myself - we kicked around the idea of offering it to fans, but got stuck on who would produce what - cases, CDs, etc. It's really a nice piece of work - maybe we should take some sort of poll and see how many people are interested and what they'd be willing to pay. We're certainly not looking for much profit - just enough to cover time, effort and supplies (and maybe a little extra...)

Depending on how long it is and how high quality, I think true fans would spend about as much for a normal soundtrack CD...go to a record store and price it.

Maxwell-FBI said he had one that was similar and had made it, but it is not out for sale, no. I want them to make it and I will purchase it from him.

I was still hoping for that CD with all the original music. Only thing close you find of that is a .zip file archive of mp3's recorded from the show with the original music floating around on Emule. *MST3Claye fidgets as if he's holding something behind his back.*

Maybe that way, but I am hoping that Frank will make it for me instead. That way I only have to pay for it and the postage. You can keep that. I hate zip files.

What if we just went to our favorite peer-to-peer and searched on Joey Scarbury? Works for me. Maybe. Haven't tried it yet.

Still waiting for my CD in the mail, Frank. The holidays are long over, so time to get crackin' on this

Wow. I completely forgot about this. OK, everyone, what would you be willing to pay for this? Let's hear those replies!

Wow. I completely forgot about this. OK, everyone, what would you be willing to pay for this? Let's hear those replies! For the CD of the original music, it would depend on the quality, but probably 20 bucks or so. If you are talking about the whole series of DVDs...I don't know. I have some full-length episodes and probably don't need two of them...especially if the music didn't change. With shipping included, probably around 50 bucks, but I might go higher. (I would have gone higher from the start if I had done this the first time through...does this include the pilot?)

I would need to see a song list. I enjoyed the Songs DVD you made, but it sure was missing a lot of songs! At first I thought HD's post above was $50 for the CD! He's probably right that $20 (+S/H) is a good number... Also, make sure everyone is aware that you are the master at splicing songs together to make them longer, so they know each track is more than 30 seconds

I'd definitely purchase a CD of the music. I already have the original music DVDs.

But you wouldn't purchase the whole series with the REAL music involved? Frank, does the Japanese version have the teasers?

|
Post by Maxwell - F.B.I. on Feb 21, 2007 12:51:57 GMT -5
No, no teasers on any of the official DVD releases that I know of.
I have a custom made DVD of all the teasers that came from the broadcast masters - it has all S2 and S3 teasers, but the final teaser (for Vanity...) freezes at the end. The others however play fine.
It's a DVD+R though, so I'm not sure I could duplicate it even if the offers were out there to sell copies of it.

Too bad...that would be neat. Well how about the CD and the DVDs?
