I vote Ted Levine as Bill.

Expanding the cast beyond the big three now, I believe that Dan Akroyd should play Les Carlisle.

I've got it—oh boy, have I got it! The perfect casting for the big three!
So without further ado—
Macaulay Culkin as Ralph Hinkley (he's the right age now, and it'll be fun to hear him screaming again when he's wearing the jammies and flying for the first time) Johnny Depp as Bill Maxwell (Right age, known for playing offbeat characters, and what could be more offbeat than an FBI agent who eats dog biscuits and associates with space aliens and schoolteachers who run around in magic underwear?) Kristin Kreuk as Pamela Davidson (Just about the right age, intelligent and hot—that's our counsellor to a T!)
And to really turn up the cheese factor on this baby, I'd get Joel Schumacher (Batman and Robin) to direct!

Hmmm... Very interesting choice of cast. I might go for Kristin Kreuk but for Ralph I think that Jesse Eisenberg would be a better modern choice. He has that every man quality that the character really needs. As for Bill Maxwell I agree with an earlier post that Bruce Campbell would do a great job.

Jesse Eisenberg? Come on, the guy's not even blond!

I'm sure you realize that he can bleach his hair. LOL He does have the curls for it though.

Well, I'm sticking to my guns on this one. Not trying to start an argument, just stating my personal preference.
In the meantime, I believe I've found someone to play Tony Villicana—Jake T. Austin.

At this point I'm not too fussed at who plays whom. I would be happy with almost anyone at this point. I just wish that they would revive this project. There are so many people that still love this show and I'm sure it would do pretty well at the box office.
