CRUEL INTENTIONS may be the funniest movie I ever seen...is that wrong? People look at me funny when I say that. It WAS a comedy, right?

Um, I don't think so... Actually, there were quite a few scenes that made me laugh, but I think those were intentional - the truly sadistic 'under the breath comment' scenes.

Oh...oops. It was just so funny...I could not stop laughing the entire movie. No wonder I can never find it in the comedy section of a movie store.

I am trying to think of other actresses that would work in the role of HEROINE, especially if they went for a minority or less popular lady. I still can't think of anyone who would be effective enough in the role to reprise the HEROINE idea.

What about sarah michelle gellar. She can play it serious when she has to...she also has a bit of a comedic quality sometimes and she is no stranger to physical roles either.

I think that is the worst idea I have heard...and I think people listed in the above poll are some really bad choices. I just don't think she is talented enough to pull off a role like this. To me, the new HEROINE should be more like Pam than Holly and I don't think Gellar qualifies as someone to that standard of acting.

I agree there should be more Pam than Holly in the new heroine, but with a bit of silliness too. You have to have some fun wearing the suit as well. Hollywood at times seems more focused on a woman's looks than acting talent. There are some exceptions to this, but I'm starting to see more Holly's than Pam's in the industry, and if their Pam's, they're more like a cross between Pam and Bill (fights everyone and always right). If they did have a new heroine, she'd probably need to be an unknown, but someone who understands the balance between comedy and drama (and yes, can act). Both work together to make a show funny. I get turned off if a show's straight one or the other, and acting makes up a lot of that.

Does that mean you agree with me that none of the above listed would be good choices?

Does that mean you agree with me that none of the above listed would be good choices? Pretty much so, as most usually do just one or the other. I do think they're talented (as I can't sing as well as Lohan or Duff), but I just don't see any of them having the balance of comedy and drama necessary to be a heroine. I don't think they could shake off things like having to crash or go around somewhere in the red suit and take it seriously as well as not so. Just my two cents.

I think Pam should be the new HEROINE...mainly because I cannot think of anyone else. What if Faye Grant got it?

Naturally...just like I presume you can't think of anyone other than Katt for the suit.

So would having anyone other than Culp play Bill...so many problems with a feature film or new series.

Let's see now...... Connie did say in the interviews on the second disc of the first season that she wanted to try the suit on, but I think that an unknown would be best. If not, either Jessica Alba or Sarah Michele Gellar. Secondly, I really can't see anyone else playing Bill,Ralph, etc because they will undoutably ruin it.(think I Spy/Starsky&Hutch/Dukes of Hazzard)I really think that Hollywood will destroy the memory of the show we have by making it stupid. Well that's my opinion anyway.

I personally thought she was good in Buffy, and in "I know what you did last summer" myself. I think they would both look good in red spandex. ....'wink-wink,nudge-nudge'.(sorry for the Python).
Talk to you later

I definitely think Alba would be good for the part if they revived it more as action. I think if it was more comedy-based, like the original series, that it would be hard to find someone convincing enough.

Good call. They could have a little humor in it though. Maybe sort of like Fantastic Four maybe? In that case, definetely Jessica Alba then.(trade blue spandex for red? hell yeah)
