And look how popular BATMAN was.

Hehe, speaking of BATMAN. My complete set of that show should be here in a few days. Yes they are campy, but they are still a hoot to watch. :-)
I don't watch Heroine much because I hate goodbyes. Even though I love that goodbye scene. It's just that I always picture Bill & Ralph (& Pam) as THE team. They should never be split up. Same way with Pete & Jim in A12, and I'm sure there are more good partnership teams that I can't think of right now..

I guess the difference is that the camp in "Batman" worked better... well same with "EW&DG." You hit the nail on the head though gahfan08 as to why I think this bombed - they split up the team. It might've worked better with an entirely new team. Having Bill there made me go "Where's Ralph?" - just because it lacked the dynamic. Reality of course was Culp was the only one available to do the series - Katt was doing "Perry Mason," Connie "Hotel." Ms B, however, said that when she met Katt at a convention in Boston, in the Q&A he said he was guaranteed three years if he did come back when NBC tried to bring it back. However, he was doing "Mason," and given its popularity and I'm guessing Connie's not being able to reprise Pam led to him turning it down. Of course, IMHO you'd need Pam there too given that Ralph and Pam married.
