Well, I don't remember, really. They were getting ready to go out, anyway. Isn't that always the time when men decide it might be o.k. if they are a little bit late.......LOL!

Couldn't tell you...I am Mr. Prompt...I like a well-fleshed out scenario.

It seems like I should know that episode, but I am busy at the moment relishing the pictures to know which episode. Can you help me with that? The episode was "The Price is Right." They are getting ready for Ralph's 10th anniversary and are now waiting for Bill to show up with what ends up to be the "purple hearse."

Thanks, Mel...that is probably why I did not know it...I could avoid that one all the time. Although I do LOVE the RED CROSS LADY.

I should have remembered that. When I watched the episodes after buying the third season, that is the only time I stopped and reversed because I recognised the shot from ThatGirl's earlier post. I wanted to pay close attention to where Ralph's eyes were wandering...
I don't watch much TV or movies any more, but when I do watch, I always get lost in the story and forget that it's a show/movie. Drives my wife crazy, but she drives me crazy when she PAUSES to go get a snack or something. Aauugh! Hate commercials too; rather tape it and fast-forward.
Yes, it's MyTatuo, not MelMac.

I hate real TV too. Why do girls pause it to go pee and stuff? How did they EVER watch a show in original runs...especially if the commercials were not scheduled around potty time. I think you have been reading too many MelMac posts...dangerously close to one.

Yes, but some would debate her personality and acting skills. There were good points about Holly as played by her yes, but unfortunately Mary Ellen Stuart was not a strong enough actress - at least my opinion - to take on the role.

Are you sure? Maybe she just played Holly as "naive". What's wrong with it? She didn't need to be the best actress in the world. (slowly becoming a 'GAHeroine' fan ;D)

(slowly becoming a 'GAHeroine' fan ;D) Her performance is a bit ditzy and not quite believable for someone who just got a suit that could ruin their life. Everything is PERFECT - one reason I don't like it. Holly had all the suit powers down pat, and basically shoved Bill out of the way instead of work with him (One reason I wish they had a totally new team - Bill is too cool for that treatment). MES' performance was unconvincing IMHO, and she was a bit fake in her delivery. There were a couple of good points in the story of her acting, but overall, it didn't have the same feel of realism. There is one clip of her as Holly on YouTube, but I do not have the direct link.

I've already seen it. What can I say? I think they did the pilot like a TEST. "Let's see what happens." I think they wanted to refine details along the way... Mary's portray too... the pilot was just a kind of experiment to see if a NEW series would have been a possibility.

It was meant to be just a test, but for whatever reason they chose to add it to syndication. I'm not convinced Mary Ellen Stuart would've improved - I have seen her in commercials here in the United States (well - it's a regional furniture chain) and I have to say she still acts like she did as Holly. :-\ That doesn't mean that the idea wouldn't work - but I think SJC would've recast the role with a stronger actress if it took off.

I absolutely loved the way they adapted the suit to a woman.

When originally anounced TGAHeroine was going to be a 20 minute test pilot for NBC. That changed somewhere along the way, and a 2 hr script was written. That script was eventually cut down to the hour that was finally produced. So I'm not sure I would say the finished product was a test, but the 20 minute reel would have been. Much the same way a Batgirl test reel was made for ABC before adding Batgirl to the 60's series. That reel was never meant to air.

So the running time is 1 hour.
What about an average episode of 'GAH'? 45 minutes?

Sorry - I was just going by what Robert Culp said as far as "GAHeroine." He said they did a test pilot, so that's what I go with. And - I've seen the "Batgirl" and the original version of "Wonder Woman" test reels. The "Batgirl" one isn't too bad, but the "Wonder Woman" one? ... Well, let's just say that you don't use the TV series "Batman" silliness in the world of "Wonder Woman."
