Well...that's it. They hired a new IT guy at work, and he instantly figured out my work-around for getting to the site without WebSense interferring. That means that I can't be around during the day, and my family keeps me pretty busy at night and weekends, so I guess I'm done here. I'll stop by at least once a week, but that's about it. I'll be in AIM next Sunday, though, and will be here almost every night for four months starting the end of April. Don't know what will happen in August, though. Crap. Now I have to actually work at work. The hardest part of my job is finding things to do, to make it look like I have enough to do...
OK, Mel, you're in charge. Ok you know what this means... Hey green guys?? You up there? Surely the green guys will do their mojo and fix up another way for you to join us at work. If not, it was great having you as admin or mod around here. Thanks for the neat title and the current Ralph's house pictures! In other words, DON'T LEAVE US!!!! Besides HD, AAH and I don't know how to fend off these Maxwell fans of the opposite sex.

I am a Maxwell fan too, but not because of his attached pistola. I think that is more what Claye was getting at.

What is that, like, 20 posts in 2 days since I said I'm leaving? It's nice to be loved/missed. Got to go home early today, cause one of my sons was kicked out of daycare due to a high fever. Now I got about 5,000 posts to wade thru. Can't imagine what it will be like when I'm not here for a week. Like scenario said, who has the time to read EVERY post on this board? The only reason I announce such things is people are used to me being around. Those who are codependant on me might enjoy the advanced notice. Kinda like when Mel said she was taking a break and it lasted about 12 hours

And scenario takes YEAR-long sabbaticals, not just week ones..it might not be THAT bad. For those of us codepedent, maybe we will start our own board dedicated to missing and idolizing you...maybe even put HEROINE on there as sort of a catch-all.

This was even when I said I was going to be gone for probably a week or longer.

Yes, but those captions are more fun when you announce you will be leaving...and especially when you announce it and don't do it. At least MyTatuo seems to actually be gone when he announces it.

Yes... but I also said this last year around Christmas and was gone for a week on vacation. You had about three different captions of Ralph and Bill searching for Mel. Then again, they were all very funny.

Who do you work for, MyT?
Big Brother Inc?
Geez. It is sad. Certainly we all tend to surf a little too much when we should be working, but to not let you check e-mails once or twice a day is pure evil.
I mean, the way I see it, you should be able to go ANYWHERE on the web (well maybe not porn sites) during your lunch break at least. To restrict it so you can't even do that is just evil.
You know, there should be a program that maybe restricts during certain hours of the day (8-12 and 1-6 or something) but lets people have their time to surf on their break time. The technology is there - when you log in, it could register when you have a lunch break, and that's fair game... You know, MyT, why don't you and I go into business and get that program off the ground. We can market it to big business (and Big Brothers) everywhere, make a million bucks, and then never have to worry about it again.
Or better yet, we could restrict OUR employees from surfing the web... EXCEPT for the GAH site.

Meh. Only officers have internet & email at my work. You know, I'd love to surf the board in between customers. We're gonna miss you, MyT.

I think it's a happy medium - making sure workers don't waste too much time if that's a problem, versus worker's rights to stay in contact with the world.

So, MyTatuo, is work still going so poorly that you can't be on with us or was it the move or something else? We still miss you being around all the time.

[secret transmission from work computer]
***zzz***
epp, i'm logged in from work. i expect that websense will lower the boom any minute, so time is short.
although the family have been at the mother-in-law's for a few months, i have taken this opportunity to do some computer work on the side. so my nights and weekends have been busy on the computer, but still no time to post on the forum much.
anyway, my next computer project is the return of gah.com, so stay tNFUH#&(GBLVJ&F#BVP@B(&$K>N@$?V...

MyT... I am here. I didn't say goodbye... Well not to you guys, anyways. And right now, goodbyes are really really hard...
Some of you know I am going through some really really heartbreaking stuff right now. I am not myself. I miss you guys all so very much... but I am just not myself.
If anyone wants to chat, I am often online lately... if you want to talk... but don't expect upbeat and happy. As I said, not myself.
