How early, Jo? HD? Mel? I hear also good Things around this Amerika Online Instant Messaging, or? I really need to get that translator the green guys gave me checked in for a tune up...

So do we have a start time for the chat?

I am going to throw out two possible times.
Eastern Standard Time (NY, Florida): 12 noon That means about 6 pm for Germany, and 9 am Pacific time.
Eastern Standard Time (NY, Florida): 3 pm That means about 9 pm for Germany, and 12 noon Pacific time.
I would assume that everyone should be up for either of these, and give everyone at least an hour or so to chat before they need to sign off.
Which gets more thumbs up?

So HD is for the yellow option? If I am reading him right....?
We all realize we may not be able to all start at the same time... but to maybe be around the same general time...
Who else?

How late is late, MyT? I'd like to join in, but afternoon is just... bad.

I really don't know if either will work for me - it's busy this time of year for me at work. So... I guess my case it's just I'll stop by and say hi when I get the chance if nothing else.

I miss the first one we had 3 years ago. It was a blast!

I miss the first one we had 3 years ago. It was a blast! Actually, the second one was MUCH better... you know, the one I was there for?
That first one without me must have been a REAL yawner....

The other option is something like this.
Eastern Standard - Saturday at 12 midnight (or is that Sunday morning) Pacific - 9 pm Saturday Germany - 6 am Sunday
Nothing else really would work - either Tom will be asleep or us folks on the Eastern seaboard will be... Unless Tom has nocturnal habits we don't know about...
Anyway, I wouldn't want to cut into his Sunday church time...

I am busy at all day Saturday at a med school retreat. Sunday I am FREE all day. I vote for Sunday.

BWAHH HAH HAH! Now THAT'S funny! The only Sunday church I will be attending is Our Sisters of the Divine PILLOW! 6 am is O-U-T! I vote for the original yellow time (12pm E / 9 am P / 18:00 UTC+1). I may be a little late, since I gotta get the kids to bed first... I also vote for Sunday, since Saturday I will be busy drinking beer (I know, how is this different than any other day? Well, tomorrow it will be "stark" beer...)

I thought you'd appreciate that one!
Ok, so unless there are any objections, let's go for
SUNDAY, March 15th, 12 noon, Eastern Standard time.
If any new folk want to join us, let us know your AIM usename, and we can add you.

I don't do AIM anymore. It gave my old computer viruses.

That time and date should work for me. I may be sporadic though.
AIM works best for me though, so people can find me there. ;D

On the phone with Marci...
Can everyone access the chatroom here on this site? Not everyone can get onto AIM.
Thoughts?

I can't access the site here. If you guys have it here, I won't be there. It keeps getting filtered out by the college.
EDIT: What keeps people off AIM? Is it a filter? The only person I saw was Ms. B who just said she wouldn't use it do to a virus the last time. Is there something that keeps other people off of AIM?

I sometimes have trouble with AIM - can only get it on the desktop, not the laptop...
but I was just asking because I hate to exclude anyone. It is like either HD or Marci...
BUT I WANT BOTH!!
