I am working on MAYBE doing a GAH mini series comic. When designing a new GAH costume, what would be your ideal?

Well, I guess one point of the show was that is was designed to look ridiculous, instead of "super". It would be nice to see it look like other "super suits" look. I guess a little muscle would be nice. Just some? Hey if you guys can make that heroine look the way you did in the cartoon posted elsewhere in this forum, you can make the hero a little hunkier!

Always keep it red. Can't ever lose the cape, but make it longer. The short cape looked terrible. The suit will always look silly just by virtue of it being a superhero outfit in a real world. But there is no need to purposefully make it look like a dorky superhero costume. Maybey they can raise the emblem and make it more 3-D like they did with Spider-Man's costume.

I sincerely like he old suit just as it is.
But we're talking alien technology here, and I'd bet that the aliens designed it after seeing the old George Reeves Superman broadcasts... I mean they seem to be really fond of TV broadcasts, don't they?
But we could also be talking aout an intergalactic organization similar to the Guardians Of Oa from the Green Lantern comics (don't you think they're amazingly similar???). So there could very well be a hundred, a thousand, a million different versions of the superjammies floating around out there on other civilized worlds. But I'd bet that they are all bright red with gray piping!
Seriously though, i guess it wouldn't surprise me if the suit were able to alter form... probably one of the many abilities that Ralph never learned when he lost the freaking instruction book. Hey, maybe the aliens are colorblind and they don't even realize how garish the suit really is! That would be pretty funny... the suit can alter form, but is incapable of changing color! That's comedy!
So finally Ralph learns that he actually CAN make he suit less embarrassing, but when he tries to turn it into say, a business suit, it maintains it's color pallette... BRIGHT RED. Agony....AAAAAGOOOONEEEE!!!
Hey, just me riffin' here. Playing on a theme.

pretty well thought out gordon.
i often wonder. if you change the costume. make ralph buff and let him get the instruction book. would the show then loose its charm.

Absolutely. Isn't the whole point of the show about how an average guy handles incredible circumstances?
Make him a competent hero and he becomes Superman. Boring.

is that heromachine software you used. they look good. not sure if they fit the gah format though. other than being red and black.
besides that. the crew here has already made it clear they dont want me messing with the design to much.

Does anyone know where to get a red shirt with the GAH symbol on it. I saw a guy with one during a marathon today?

I saw a guy with one during a marathon today? spidey@globalcrossing.net About this mystery marathoner: Did he: a) Finish the race first, even though he looked like he hadn't trained for months like everyone else did? b) Look completely different from the guy who had the same number at the start of the race? c) Disappear at some point during the race, and was there news of a major crime that was foiled under mysterious circumstances? d) All of the above.
