Checkin out a site that lists the episodes of the show... it shows that the last four were not aired..
I have read posts where they are referred to on here, so is the site wrong.. or did they only originally air in syndication?

Dude, dude, dude... You're older than me. Don't you remember? GAH was canceled with the final four episodes unaired. I was in 9th grade when that happened. The syndicated reruns started the following Fall; once a week: Saturday mornings. At least, that's how it was here in Jersey. So take September of 1983, and add 40 agonizingly slow weeks, and that's how long I had to wait to see the final four episodes. It took forever. On the other hand, it was kinda like having brand new episodes of GAH more than a year after it's cancelation...
Was anyone here lucky enough to have daily reruns, and get through the first 39 episodes in 39 week days instead of 39 weeks in 1983/84?

Everyone had to wait the 39 weeks back in the original 80's syndication run. The show was not "stripped" at all (running 5 days a week) at that time. After the shows 1st syndie go around, it was then available for airing 5 days a week.

I just remember going into a deep funk and not coming out for years - I followed it to Friday nights, then waited for it to come back on Thursday nights (back again, at 7pm CST), sitting on the floor (god the orange carpet we had then was awful) right in front of the TV. Funny thing is, I STILL remember thinking at the time, man this episode I just watched "Thirty Seconds Over Little Tokyo" kinda sucked hard. LOL In retrospect, it was far better than what I got the following week, which was NOTHING. <sob>

I watched 'Thirty Seconds...' the night it aired on ABC and approximately three or four weeks later, I asked my mom (I was 8 at the time) why there were no more episodes being shown. She said something to the effect of, "Well, maybe they're not making anymore." My mom was so cavalier about it, but I remember being devastated when she said that. To this day, I can't watch that episode and not feel a bit sad, especially for it being such a sub-par episode.

Yeah, it was really poor - especially that lame ending.
For them to 'go out' in that manner - man, that messed me up. I was too sensitive. Hell, I still am - LOL

On the bright side though, Maxwell-FBI, at least all three of the leads were in that ending.

I think had it been "Desperado" or "Rock 'n' Roll" it might not have been as bad IMHO. Both at least in parts had a feel of true "GAH" and left the viewer on a high note. "Thirty Seconds" just feels a bit out of place with Ralph covering his eyes, and "Vanity" just feels off on many levels.

I remember because I didn't really understand Vanity when I saw it on tv So I know it aired. Then I was miffed because they ended it. THEN I was MORE miffed when when Heroine came on!!! It was a very emotional time for me. I had to get used to the face that I was never going to see WK get undressed again...Then I saw First Love. Ooh la la
