I think this is possible, so here's one: Ross Martin to William Katt. Ross Martin -James Arness in Gunsmoke 1958 James Arness- William Katt in Gunsmoke 1974 ------- Tom Selleck and Robert Culp Simple. They were BOTH in the movie RUNNING MATES.

Danny Kaye - Bill Cosby the cosby show 1986 Bill Cosby - Rober Culp the cosby show 1987 (factoid: Culp's character was Scott Kelly) Or you could use Bill Cosby –Robert Culp Ispy Danny Kaye - Bill Cosby the cosby show 1986 Bill Cosby - Rober Culp Ispy Robert Culp –William Katt ------- Dean Stockwell - William Katt

Jack Ging starred opposite William Katt in the GAH episode MY HEROES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN COWBOYS.

I don't think there is one smaller than this although there might be several that tie: Cary Grant was in THAT TOUCH OF MINK with Dick Sargent from BEWITCHED fame. Dick Sargent was in an episode of PS I LUV U with Connie Sellecca entitled I'D KILL TO DIRECT.

OK, Red Skelton to any of the three. I don't think he was in it, but if he appeared in The Cosby Show... without using it.

Red Skelton was on the Mike Douglas show, obviously starring Mike Douglas. Mike Douglas would later guest star directly with William Katt in the GREATEST AMERICAN HERO episode 200 MPH FASTBALL, which indirectly put him with all three cast members.

It would really help if people stated how many degrees of separation there are supposed to be, you know. Anyway: Mike Meyers was in AUSTIN POWERS with Charles Napier. Charles Napier was in the A-TEAM episode LABOR PAINS with John Vernon who played Jarrett. John Vernon starred opposite BOTH Culp and Katt in the GREATEST AMERICAN HERO EPISODE "Desperado" as Justin King.

At least I've chosen names that people would actually have an idea who I'm talking about. The one weird one I'd like to try is one of the Doctors from "Doctor Who" with Katt or Culp, but I don't know if a. That's possible (first two I'm pretty sure it's no - at least to make to Katt) and b. I don't know how many, other than Eccelston, have done work over here.

I went the hard way with movies only. You could probably get ANYTHING tv wise because Tom Baker was in an episode of Blackadder II which starred Rowan Atkinson and I think a few episodes in II but as a regular in the last two series, Hugh Laurie. Connecting Tom Baker (the fourth Doctor in Doctor Who) to Robert Culp Tom Baker was in The Magic Roundabout (called Doogal in the US) with Ian McKellan who was in the X-Men movies with Patrick Stewart who was in Excalibur with Liam Neeson who was in Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace with Natalie Portman who was in Mars Attacks! with Joe Don Baker (MITCHELL!) who was in Panther with........ Robert Culp!

Charlie Chaplin- to either Katt, Culp, Sellica Again, I don't know how many you are looking for, but I have it to Culp in the fewest. Charlie Chaplin starred opposite Marlon Brando in A COUNTESS FROM HONG KONG. Marlon Brando was in ROOTS: THE NEXT GENERATION with Culp. Culp was in GAH with both Katt and Connie.

Since I'm going to be OT in an OT guest thread, I'm going to say it anyway: I didn't even know they did a "Roots: The Next Generation." I only knew of the original one with LeVar Burton and a few other well-known actors.

OK, how about Lucille Ball to Culp or Katt (with no Red Skelton reference, as he was in several movies with her). Okey dokey. Lucille Ball was in YOURS, MINE, AND OURS with Tom Bosley. Tom Bosley guest starred in the episode CHILD'S PLAY with both Robert Culp and Connie Sellecca...it was an episode of HOTEL.

OK... that's a good one (but I didn't know Bosley was in the film version of "Yours, Mine and Ours." That's a new one, but cool. ) I'm going to try one more to stump our illustrious Wizard of the Fifth Ring: Jeff Hyslop to either Katt or Culp.
