I was waiting for Maxwell - FBI to bring this up on this new board, but for those of you who don't know, he has been in contact with Stephen Geyer, the man responsible for the original music on the show. If there is enough interest, Mr Geyer may write and record longer versions of our favorite songs that we can purchase, but we would have to choose which are our favorites.
If you need a list, ask and we'll repost. Not cover versions, mind you (No Rocketman or Heroes/Cowboys), just the original music composed for this show.
Which brings me to my $0.02. Which of the songs written for TGAH have appeared on other Cannell shows? That way we can perhaps broaden the audience for this CD and perhaps actually see it come to pass. We obviously want the theme song (but what about Post/Carpenter?), and Dreams since it has been on others' albums. I'm sure Maxwell-FBI has a list he's working on.
The Yahoo group has also been working on this. Any support for it here?

Hey, MyTatuo. Thanks for bringing that up. Yeah, the project is still a hope and dream at this point, but for those people out there who are interested, post and be heard! Just imagine being able to hear full versions of all those songs we've known and loved for 20+ years. What a thrill that would be. And Geyer performing them himself - yeah!

It's strange, I remember SOOO many of the songs from G.A.H. from when I first saw it at the age of 9, with E.O.D., Once Upon A Time, Dreams, Sometimes and Space Oddity REALLY standing out.
Yet I don't remember Everything You Dream from it's original run (and I saw the original airing of the show it was in), and it's now one of my top 3 favorite songs that Stephen Geyer wrote for the show. Weird how things work out...

I would buy it. Mr. Geyer deserves mad props for his work, and if I can put some coin in his pocket, it would be only the merest gesture of thanks.
And since you asked, "Heroes Are Human" is my favorite. That episode is my fave, of course, but I just loved that song and from the first time I heard it, back when I was 11 watching the show, it always stuck with me.

SORRY TO DELETE THE ORIGINAL POST:
The policy remains here as on the old board, no personal links to the selling of bootleg material. That includes no ads saying: "I have videos for sale 125.00.", etc. What everyone does e mailing each other behind the scenes is none of my concern. If someone asks for something, and a reply is given of contact info, that's okay. After all, I have no idea what will be discussed in private, but this site is not up for the personal gain of others. Thanks.

Booooo! I think you just don't like any other GAH websites, or people that criticize the offical release.

Booooo! I think you just don't like any other GAH websites, or people that criticize the offical release. HHHMMM...I've never said anything to badmouth any other TGAH websites. Plus the policy I stated above was in effect on the old board long before any official release was even a glint in Cannell's eye. Also, you can look anywhere on this board, and you won't find me criticizing anyone for their views good or bad on the DVD release. Nor have I removed anyone's posts that has criticized the release.

Have to side with Greenguy on this one. There's plenty of posts here that slam the release (hell, a lot of 'em are by me, heheheheh), but I think the idea is not to go "BOOTLEGS FOR SALE! - CHECK OUT HTTP://..." or that sort of thing. Personally, I love this site and the TV Shrine site - best 2 sources I've ever seen on the web for G.A.H. related material.

NO DOUBT!!!! That's what I was saying last time tvshrine posted about selling his dvd's. I would prefer NOT to risk this board being closed down cause we harbor bootlegers. Even though I have considered buying your copies tvshrine. BUT ONLY AFTER SHOWING MY SUPPORT and buying the official releases. When you buy the official product you cast your vote for NEW GAH product. Like I said before. Sorry your site wasnt included in the GAH dvd release. No need to get booty hurt. Maybe you should have posted more than 6 times and actually shown an interest in US and OUR board. Rather than PREYING on our fandom On a final note. Change your site address to something related to GAH rather then the Brady Bunch.....Makes it look like GAH was an after thought and a ploy to make money. ;D

HA ;D Like I said my problem isnt with bootlegers. I think for the most part they have kept the show alive when there was nothing. Heck like i said, I may buy some to. But I do have a problem with: Booooo! I think you just don't like any other GAH websites, or people that criticize the offical release. I like our moderators here. I like OUR board. I have no prob with personal opinions on boards. Thats what thier for. But dont be a wiener head and side step the issue. Like I said. The guy posted 6 times. Atleast twice of which was to promote his DVD's. Buy ad space! ;D

would purchase the cd right now just for Trouble on Wheels alone, imagine what a deal it would be in terms of sentimental values to have the whole awesome lot on just one cd
