I just found I still had it. Only liked a few songs on there but anyone know more about his recording career? I do know for a fact he has a very good singing voice, which really surprised me when I saw him in "Pippin" on TV a few years back. In fact, I was even more surprised to find out that he actually released an album, which leads me to a couple more questions: - I seem to recall that the album was released only in Japan. Is this true, or was it released elsewhere? - Also, wasn't there a GAH-related song on there called "Little Black Book" or something?

I don't have it handy right now - but it was an American release. Not sure of the songs though, I'd have to go find it again and look.
I only liked the title song anyway.

;D *drools* I remember hearing long ago that he did Broadway, but never heard him sing before. I've seen him dance in other stuff, Great dancer. Did he every sing anything on GAH ever? Woo hoo! I'd love to hear some of his stuff.

If I find a turntable that I can hook to my PC I can capture the songs.

But I seem to recall on one of the Season 1 DVD interviews (it was with either WK or SJC, I'm not certain) that Katt wrote a song for Cannell's young son who had passed away. Pretty sweet of him to do that.

I HAD that cassette in High School! It broke (pre-CD era). I bought it after I saw him on the Merv Griffin Show. I remember my friends making fun of me because I opted to buy that instead of Duran Duran or some garbage like that.

Oh, man... I'd LOVE to have a copy of that! Yikes, I'm quoting myself... But after MUCH searching around on the internet last night, I FINALLY found a copy of the LP! The only problem is, my phonograph, I think, has stripped a gear & the sound isn't the best (it sounds like there's one section of the equalizer completely missing) BUT I'm gonna do my best to transfer it to my computer anyway. Perhaps it's time to go buy a new phonograph... a cheap but good one.

Just a suggestion... Your best bet is to rent a turntable/record player (from some pro audio place) and buy a good sound card for your computer. This will make a tremendous difference in the sound quality of anything you transfer from LP, cassette or even videotape to audio files. I just got a card called the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz for about $38 (including shipping) that is excellent...you can probably get it cheaper now. I'd also recommend recording the songs in wav format to preserve the quality. If you don't really care that much, mp3s will do in a pinch. Pam new audiophile here

I got my copy of the LP today! Woo hoo! I'm currently in the middle of recording it (to a cassette first, then I'll feed it into Cakewalk Pyro). I'm not even listening to it yet. I wanna make the sound as perfect as possible in Pyro so I'll be listening to it there. We shall see how the recording comes out... And, PamVK, thanks for the info. I hate to purchase another phonograph (or even rent one), though, since we've got two in the house (but, of course, I can only use one of them for recording & that's the one that's messed up). I do have a good (to my liking) soundcard installed &, as I said, I use Pyro, which I love.

I'm downloading a program right now to make streaming audio files. So, *hopefully* I'll have the songs streaming, atleast.
