*snip* (Lauren liked this one a while back in the nine panel, so I redid it, but just the one emblem) And I still like this one. The shadowed one you're using as your avatar is cool, too! Thanks Lauren. It's actually the embossed technique but uses the colors. Took a couple of tries as the first one the edges were too thin and you couldn't see them in the avatar. I plan on designing a couple of more ones with the emblem, as lately I've been making a lot of Davidson ones (not that there's a problem with that, as it improves my drawing skills. ) Any suggestions or requests are always welcomed and appreciated.

Well, keeping in mind this is a very rough draft, here's a commercial for a plot bunny I've got in mind. (I'm still working out a few kinks, such as the layout of the battleship and its tours of duty. Not to mention Bill's family history.)
[glow=red,2,300]Wednesday[/glow]
Ralph: Well, Bill here we are, the San Jacinto Monument and (turning him around) ... Well, you surprised?
Bill: Kid, I don't believe it, this is the battleship Texas. Looks great after it's renovation. Ya know, my dad served on it...
(Hears scream and splash. Ralph and Bill rush over to find man in water, Ralph rescues him)
Man: Beware, the curse of the ship's clock... (passes out)
[glow=red,2,300]A simple trip to Houston turns out to bring mystery to our heroes...[/glow]
Bill: Ya gettin' anything kid?
Ralph: Nothing from the clothes. I found the ship's clock in the Captain's cabin, but it's a normal clock. Tried a holograph, and there's nothing odd about it, no bombs, no poison, no...
Pam (reading a book on desk): Ralph, it says here that an ensign aboard the ship took a ship's clock from a grounded enemy battleship and kept it. When he did that, strange things happened to the sailors, and the clock vanished.
Bill: What was his name?
Pam (hesitates): Well... It was your father.
[glow=red,2,300]Causing Bill to doubt his father's past...[/glow]
Bill: Dad never mentioned that tour. I mean, he loved talking about his adventures, but why not this one?
Ralph: Don't know, but maybe there is a reason. I mean, that man I rescued knew something about the trip. But, he was injured trying to tell someone, and now is in a coma, so we can't ask. There has to be someone who's after the clock.
Pam: And, since they've recently renovated the ship, there are more rooms to search and the story's come back to light.
[glow=red,2,300]And a mystery for all three...[/glow]
(Inside ship, going through quarters)
Ralph: Come on, Bill, clocks don't kill people.
Bill: Yeah, that's what they say about the doomsday clock...
Ralph: Wait a second, (picks up paper) "The treasure will be shown when the clock strikes midnight." What does that mean?
(Hears crash, Bill and Ralph run out to find a figure running away.)
Bill: Whoever that was, must've also known about the clock, but where is it?
[glow=red,2,300]Can our heroes find the clock and solve this mystery before the person takes them out?[/glow]
(Near sickbay, Pam looking around area. Gloved hand covers her mouth and she's given some sort of sedative. Pam slumps unconscious in figure's arms.)
*switch to quarters*
Bill: What's wrong...
Ralph: I've got a holograph... It's Pam, she's in the sickbay tied and gagged. She's out cold and lying on a litter... Hold on... someone's coming toward her ...
Bill: You'd better get there and get the guy fast...
[glow=red,2,300]Or will the clock strike midnight and failure for "The Greatest American Hero?"[/glow]
*Tune in Wednesdays at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC*

Nice commercial...still long-winded I see. Nice new signature bar. Did Ms. D make you a little icon too or are you just a copycat there, MelMac?

Nice commercial...still long-winded I see. Nice new signature bar. Did Ms. D make you a little icon too or are you just a copycat there, MelMac? Thanks, HD. I'm getting better though at shortening commercials, however. No, the MelMac icon was drawn by Miss Davidson, and I put it in my sig here and on the other two boards I'm a member of. It's real cool and compliments both my other sigs.
