Just checked this and I was right about the purple robot with the see through head. Lucifer from Battlestar Galactica.

I believe the guy in the gold shorts would be Patrick Duffy in "Man From Atlantis." Fits better with the sci-fi/superhero theme. I agree the guy in the blue jumpsuit behind him is Quark, played by Richard Benjamin from the series of the same name. It was a Get Smart-type sitcom spoof of Star Trek where the ship is a garbage scow. It just came out on DVD recently. EDIT: I looked closer, and it does appear that the guy in the gold shorts is "Man From Atlantis." Zoom in, and it looks like he has webbed hands.

Great catch Vid. Also... does anyone know what the bat-looking character is on the silver pedestal behind Logan is? It's the only one left I'm not sure who it is.

That was the head Cylon dude before Baltar in Battlestar.

The Imperious Leader. I remember having a figure of it back in the day, along with a figure of the robot dog thing, Daggit.

But, at least now I know the characters in the group. (guess what gets me is that I don't remember the Imperious leader, but do the cast of "Space: 1999" there. :-\ )

I like this one, although Bill looks like the non-green version of the Incredible Hulk LOL

I like this one, although Bill looks like the non-green version of the Incredible Hulk LOL He does, and Ralph's shoes are grey instead of red, but the whole thing looks great. You know - I'm going to have to try my hand again at drawing avatars and sig bars again. Haven't drawn any new ones for some time now, but seeing these great pics, I might have to try my hand at them again.

I'm wondering if this fellow is one of those who drew the cards for those special "March of Dimes" trading card packs they did some time back (in limited edition, and I'm not sure if any of us got one.)

I think it is, according to his description. Pretty good stuff. I like the Maxwell one from the title sequence/Hit Car when he's talking to Ralph and Pam at the school.

Mel: Some of them say March of Dimes on them.

Mel: Some of them say March of Dimes on them. Ye-es, but sometimes people design their own versions of cards and the like if they feel the original cards don't look right, and put the text on it too.

Time to do a little self promotion. It's been a while since I've done what's known on Youtube as a Speed Drawing. The ones I've done have been in black and white. This is my first color one and first Greatest American Hero one. For the finished version.. mst3claye.deviantart.com/art/Greatest-American-Hero-160872123This took me 3 hours 49 minutes on my Wacom Intuos3 art tablet. This was linked to a photoucket video because I was in the process of getting it on youtube and getting it to STAY on there. Which it is now on there. lol

These are always great Claye, and thanks for sharing... ... wow though, over three hours though. Kinda makes me a little embarrassed though - it took me nearly that long to set up, cook and anneal my fused glass pendant of the abstract version of the suit - and the results weren't quite as good. Keep up the good work.

It took longer to fight virtualdub in syncing the video with the audio. Finally figured out that I had to MANUALLY put in the framerate per second number, because even though there are two options that you can click that SAYS it'll work that out for you.. It didn't. So I'd end up with either 1 gig file or 700 meg file. Finally after putting the numbers in myself, I think it ended up being around 50 megs. Phew, glad that battle was over with.
I also debated on which music to use as the background. The normal 3 minute version by Joey Scarbury or what I ended up using, the opening and ending themes put together.

Given the full version of the song is 3'12" - and includes a line that kinda sounds a bit romancy ("This is too good to be true .... Lucky/look at me [not 100 percent sure hearing it again yesterday]... falling for you"), I think you chose the better option. And - I know the feeling with computers - I get it all the time with my home one and a few sites I frequent. Sometimes, it's worse than timing fused glass so I don't scorch the diachroic (and I have done that. )
