No, I didn't get to ask him about the movie.... He showed up late to the ceremony, and everyone and their mother wanted to get an autograph or picture from him. He spent alot of time at the table with Joe Santos and Daniel-Hugh Kelly reminiscing and catching up. He couldn't stay long and didn't make the Hardcastle & McCormick reunion at Barney's Beanery in Santa Monica later that night. I did tell him about my H&M website and apologized for any copyright infringements. He basically waved his hand and said "Don't worry about it." So, if anyone is thinking of writing a GAH book. I suggest you contact SJC's company somehow. I think the folks there will be quite cooperative with your endeavors. Oh, and to re-hash something from the H&M board...a star for Robert Culp will only cost $25,000!

I think someone had inquired about it to them, and it was going to cost a lot to get the copyright. You have to have it in order to get a book published if I recall correctly. Good to know - Cannell and others deserve that nod too someday. But, I have also heard it takes a while and it can be hard to receive a star as they receive hundreds of nominations a year, but only choose a handful. Plus, they have several rules in order to even get chosen: www.hollywoodchamber.net/icons/faq.asp

Funny you should mention... OK, so he has one in TV... So then let me rectify that. Cannell get a second one for film. Afterall, only one person has one for all five categories - Gene Autry. It's just the other three still don't have one.
