Have to say that so far you've been great at throwing curveballs both in interactive and individual stories. They make me and, in the case of the new story, others think about their moves. I mean that as a compliment as in life, you have to make changes, etc. at the drop of a hat. This individual one I'm writing with Pam in the suit will take a little longer because I'm thinking how the dream works out into reality. The drug-induced dream won't be exactly the same as its reality, but it'll have some interesting similarities. But I like the challenge for that and other reasons. That scene alone will surprise some here on the boards. But, to be fair, I wouldn't have had the idea had it not been for you're comments the other day.

That is the kind of praise I am talking about right there. Good girl, MelMac. Everyone can feel free to join in on the HD lovefest.

All hail the great HD! The Master of curveballs! Trust me, Ms B, you haven't seen anything yet in regard to his curveballs in the story. I can give quite a few examples he did to me in the first one. (Not to mention a couple I did to him, though he won't admit it ).

Go ahead...tell stories about my greatness...she deserves to know. As for you throwing ME curveballs, telling the characters to go the wrong way to another state is not a curveball...it is a mental breakdown.

As for you throwing ME curveballs, telling the characters to go the wrong way to another state is not a curveball...it is a mental breakdown. Gee, wonder how you're going to react when you read the story about Pam getting the suit. One of the best curveballs I gave you was not having Jack as Fokus. He had to knock out the real Jack and become a doppleganger of him. Kevin coming with Babs to tell Pam and Bill about the ruby and I think something with me turning Cal to stone also knocked you for a loop. This new interactive story, you've thrown a few that have been fun to work with. And, in this story I wrote, the dream idea you gave me was a little harder to work into the story, but it did work. (As far as directions, I've gotten lost in a hospital, so that's not out of the norm. I hope no one ever seriously considers dividing Texas into five separate states. That would really become confusing.)

No...you guessed my intentions on the Jack as Fokus ploy as well turning people to stone...those were softball pitches. Babs running around became too tedious...but we both know how to deal with THAT. As for the new game thread, without my hint, you would still be confused.

Yes, Maxwell-FBI. Good thing I could work around it or it would've been too confusing. Of course, you got my intention about Ralph playing possum. Look forward to your next move.

The first game thread was fun, but I think most of it came from the beginning with so many people invovled. It was still fun with just us, but became tedious after a while. And of course, with you in charge of this one, MelMac, it is even more tedious. Rules that very few people, including yourself, follow. Having to wait two turns, etc. Almost not worth it anymore.

I think you're contradicting yourself, HD, as the 2 move rule was partly your idea. But, part of the reason it was just you and me finishing up the first one was because a). we had an idea what the other was thinking, and b). a lot of people either forgot about it or weren't on the boards. In this new one, it's an experiment as I never started one before. It's a trial and error for it, but I think it's still turning out well considering the rules and (some) cheating. But, though I've cheated, at least I haven't rambled on forever in the post like that last move. If/when I do another, it'll be more along the rules of the first.

Good idea...although I am not sure that we should let you participate anymore. Goofing up the first two the way you did.

Good idea...although I am not sure that we should let you participate anymore. Goofing up the first two the way you did. Only thing I goofed in the first one was sending Ralph to New Mexico instead of the other way. This second one, so I put Ralph in the catacombs right now. There's always a way to work around those things. Could be worse, could've had someone move from one place to another, though they're out cold.

I meant goofing up the second one by not being able to count properly, thus, starting a massive riot against the rules. Maybe I should cheat and post before the two-move limit allows.

Though I almost goofed on that (but pulled it), the only one I've cheated on is the sentences, so that's only fair to break. I'm getting better at counting to 18, and this last one was 19. ('course, I can't kid the great Wizard of the Fifth Ring here anyway. Anytime I try, I just get it used on me too. )

IF you can...it can be done, but do you really want to match wits against me? I used to be your Bi+ch, you know...I know how you operate. And I am a Wizard of the Fifth Ring.

So far, when I've tried to match wits, you've beaten me 9 out of 10 times, even then the 10th was Besides, my username has been probably the most spoofed one here on the boards, so I'm used to that. Surprised you haven't done one about me getting lost in a hospital. Ended up going to the emergency room instead of the nursery, and the nursery was pretty close to the main enterance (where I entered). At least I didn't goof so much I went to the morgue.
