I have never heard of these. Were they never aired in syndication?

I have never heard of these. Were they never aired in syndication? Yes, both did. Street Hawk had a wider syndication run than Gold Monkey. Which is funny because it only ran for a half season on ABC,. while Gold Monkey had a full season and more episodes.

I've seen "Street Hawk" before, and it's pretty good. Haven't the other, but that's not too out there for me.

Not sure if this was already mentioned, but they did release the first season of Hotel with Connie Sellecca a few months back, which surprised me. I didn't realize it was that popular of a show to merit a DVD release. Still waiting for an official Matt Houston release...

I do remember a scene where Uncle Roy (Ebsen's character) single handedly takes down two villians half his age during a fight on a boat dock.

I didn't realize it was that popular of a show to merit a DVD release. Still waiting for an official Matt Houston release... I have the "Hotel" one, which includes the pilot and all the episodes from the first season. It is vanilla in that there are no extras, but they did a nice job with the menus and the print quality. The show from what I remember watching it back then had a pretty decent showing, running for six years. My opinion only, I think if it hadn't, Connie might've been willing to leave it to do a new run of "The Greatest American Hero" on NBC - though that'd also depend on if Katt changed his mind. Plus, given that they're releasing "Dynasty" and "Dallas" right now - and I think maybe (or soon) "Knotts Landing," and they're doing well, it's a ripe time to release "Hotel" because the old night soaps are selling. All I know is in my home we watched "Hotel" and "Love Boat" the most, followed by "Knotts Landing." "Dallas" and "Dynasty" were off and on in our house and "Falcon Crest" was the least liked one of the lot (though I think it has one of the coolest themes out of all the night time soaps ).
