Hmm... guess they're going to go for more cartoony characters where features are exaggerated. Still, I love the drawing of Ralph and am looking forward to more adventures from "GAH" comics again.

Can't say for sure about the cartoony look, because when the original 3 issues were released at least one of them in the Previews catalog had the same cartoon like figure. I think it was issue 1 or 2, and we know the actual book wasnt like that.

True, but either way it's good to know it's coming back and hasn't faded into the ether like some of the other attempts to get this show back into action in some form. (Mind you, StayTunedTV.net's endeavor is on hold due to some issues on their side, not just giving up).

Whatever happened to the cartoon that was supposed to feature the the voices of William Katt, Robert Culp, and Connie Selleca?

Whatever happened to the cartoon that was supposed to feature the the voices of William Katt, Robert Culp, and Connie Selleca? Not sure, we haven't heard anything for a while there. I were to hazard a guess (well two), it's all three have scheduling conflicts where voicing the characters has been hard... Or, they could also be trying to get Faye Grant, Jessie Goins and Don Cervantes to join in the production too. They have Pare's wanting to be a part of it, but it wouldn't be the same without the other three (even if Cervantes hasn't been in the limelight for years).

Are they selling the comics at any place other than specialty comic book stores?

Here's an update I found on the Catastrophic Comics messageboard: catastrophiccomics.com/forum/index.php?topic=143.0From the admin (not sure whom is posting it though): While I'm surprised that they're not doing it anymore - I didn't read this anywhere specifically, at least it does explain why the drawings may be different. I'll still get it when it comes out - I would just like to know what went on with the belt buckle.

I'm guessing that the title listed last month is a one-shot edition. Especially with the title Arcana 2010 with no issue number.

Those of us who would like that one can be patient, just like with "Sparks" and such. (At least we know they've been busy over at Catastrophic Comics though. ). I have wondered this - could there be a possibility besides the economy (which admittedly is probably the largest issue) that is keeping these comics back? I've wondered if they are indeed getting a cast together for a "GAH" movie and want to continue the comic with the new actors' faces in it instead of Katt, Connie and Culp. Now, I wouldn't be too fond of that, as the original concept was to have the original cast in these and the shorts, but it still could be there.

Too bad. I can't find them around where I live. I might have to try a little harder and get some spies in the bigger cities to go to the comic book stores.

I agree, and wish we knew a bit more as to why the shift from Catastrophic to Arcana specifically. Of course, this could just be a one off as they were trying other things at Catastrophic for a time and wanted fans to be able to get another comic sooner, but who knows? Only thing I do know is that CC basically washed their hands of this new one, saying they had no hand in it.

I wonder if they had to sell a certain amount in order to keep orders coming from a publisher or something. It's been known to happen in other mediums.

Only thing I do know is that CC basically washed their hands of this new one, saying they had no hand in it. True. The economy had a lot to do with it. Marketing was basically word of mouth and I didn't get the Facebook page until well after. Even with the conventions it's still word of mouth and what comic shops know about it and a lot of people who love the show still don't know that there is a comic book out or even know to look for it. I know. When I was with Katt I asked the fans if they were aware and a lot of them didn't know. I still get messages from people who complain that their local shops don't carry it. They paid for it out of their pockets. And again with the economy the way it was... They didn't do bad but not as well as they hoped. They got the ball rolling and who knows what will happen in the future. It may be that SJC has something to do the new book, I don't know. Still looking into it. As far as the animated show. It's still up in the air. I'm confident it will happen but as to when...
