Peter Graves best known for his role running six seasons as Jim Phelps in the classic tv series Mission: Impossible has died, he was 83. He also starred in the 1988 version that teamed up Jim Phelps with a new set of IMF members. That version ran two seasons on ABC. Graves appeared in far too many roles to be listed here, always a favorite of mine, usually he portrayed leaders, or some sort of figures with authority. However, comedy fans will never forget his part as Capt. Oveur in the Airplane movies.
Another fine actor from a generation of classic television has left us.

Who would've thought 9 days later Robert Culp would pass away? RIP Peter and Bob
