I just ordered season 2 from Amazon. I won't receive them until Tues. or later. Are there other bonus features on those discs or are there just the same interviews that are on season 1?

Bonus features include interviews with Cannell & Mike Post, photo gallery, DVD-ROM screenplay for The 200 MPH Fastball, and a bonus Japanese track for the same episode....just in case you ever wondered what the show would look like dubbed in Japanese!?!

I like the interviews, but the last one with the dual interview is crap.

I don't know if it's a bonus or not but someone, in their wisdom, removed Don Cervantes' title card from the opening credits of almost every episode it was originally in. The also removed the words, "And...as Pam Davidson" from Connie Sellecca's title card, and "With" from Faye Grant's.

That's how Cannell and Co. lazily put together the credit sequence when the show went into its mini-syndication.

I remember someone on this site mentioning that the opening theme credits were all tweaked when the show was remastered for syndication and DVD release. The shortened theme with the piano background featured sporadically during the second season was completely dropped, along with the minute details referred to by J-Man. For the purists on this site, these adjustments were irritating, especially on top of the cover songs being replaced. One thing I noticed during the show's original prime time run was the shortened theme, which omitted the second verse, was featured on the following episodes:
300 Mile-An-Hour Fastball Operation Spoilsport Don't Mess Around With Jim Hog Wild The Lost Diablo The Shock Will Kill You Captain Bellybuster and the Speed Factory
It was also used just once during the third season for 'Live At Eleven'
However, during the show's run in syndication and it's run on FX in the 90s, the shorter theme was used on these episodes:
Operation Spoilsport Don't Mess Around With Jim Hog Wild Just Another Three Ring Circus The Hand Painted Thai Dreams The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea Captain Bellybuster
The longer original theme was used in syndication for the 3rd season 'Live At Eleven' episode. I was always a bit curious as to why these trivial adjustments were made.

Good call. I have to admit that I am confused on that myself. Granted, I don't know what is was like in the original run, but I did notice the change in the credits in syndication...I may even have a few taped.
