Let's see if we can name all the actors who've starred in more than one SJC series over the years. Now, I'm not talking about recuring guest star type things; but up-front opening credits type stuff.
This is who I come up with:
William Katt Ben Vereen Perry King Daniel Hugh Kelly Ernie Hudson Steven Williams Richard Grieco
Doesn't seem to rehire the ladies much, does he?
Did I miss anyone?

I don't know some of these. If you don't mind enlightening me, what were the series to go with the names?

I don't think you missed anyone J-Man, and the ladies do seem to be left out. Although I was aware of the guys and series you listed. I've never seen J.J. Starbuck, The Quest, Black Jack Savage, Broken Badges, or Marker.

"J.J. Starbuck" was very good. It was like "Stingray", except except the guy was old and drove a different car (at least, that's how I would've pitched it).
"The Quest" I've only ever watched one episode in 1982. Have none on tape, can't really comment.
"The 100 Lives of Black Jack Savage" was a solid hour of action/adventure/comedy, harkening back to the Cannell shows of the mid-eighties (something we weren't really getting from "Wiseguy" or "Hunter" at the time).
"Broken Badges" same as above, but better. As I've said elsewhere, nothing else ever came closer to reproducing the A-Team "vibe" for me.
"Marker" I think I only ever saw the pilot. Kind of a cross between "21 Jump Street" and "Stingray" (at least, that's how I would've pitched it).

Well, wasn't Richard Grieco in 3 Cannell series -- wasn't BOOKER a spinoff from JUMP STREET in the 1st place?
Also, Ben Vereen was a regular on the 1st season of SILK STALKINGS, playing the Captain -- he left due to his car accident at the time. So that makes 3 for Vereen, as well...

Shoot! I forgot Joey Scarbury sang backups for the JJ Starbuck theme song!! Anybody got a good copy of that one?
His part went something like this: "All along the lonely trails, the Texas rangers ride..."

In Jump Street he appeared in season 3. I am not sure but I think Booker was only one season and Marker ran for a season ( I have it on vhs)

There's also Noah Beery, Jr., who appeared in both THE ROCKFORD FILES and THE QUEST. And Robert Conrad, who starred in both BAA BAA BLACK SHEEP and THE DUKE.

What about Lance LeGault? I guess he would have been more of a recurring guest star on Cannell shows, but he was always one of my favorite tough guys that seemed perfect for Cannell TV. I always wanted to see a fight between Lance Legault and Michael Ironside back in the 80s.
