Yes yes yes!!! I loved ELO in the 70s! Good link, but a better buy is Essential ELO and the remastered albums (Eldorado, Discovery, Time and Secret Messages, all on amazon.com). Jeff includes bonus cuts on all of those. I'm having a hard time waiting for remasters of Face The Music, A New World Record and Out of the Blue to come out. I still miss the violin intro to Strange Magic... Also, you might want to check out Bev Bevan's weekly radio show: www.saga.co.uk/secure/1057fm/presenter_bevbevan.asp. I emailed him last year and he mailed me a nice autographed photo I didn't even ask for! Great guy! Later, Pam

You mean I bought the "Afterglow" boxed set and they are going to remaster their work? Ouch! $$$

Hey, you and me both. I feel your pain. Unfortunately, "Afterglow" has become well-known among fans for its poor sound quality; you're better off picking your favorite albums and buying those remasters only. That's what I'm doing. Jeff keeps trying to sell us the same music over and over again, which is annoying. Btw the old Move/ELO hit "Do Ya" is now being used in TV commercials for Monster.com. Not sure how the song relates to looking for work... Later, Pam

Yeah, Afterglow was a nice compilation of music, and it includes rare songs cut from the originally planned double LP of Secret Messages (tracks you STILL can not find anywhere else), but the tracks were not remastered.
A compilation released right before the latest 2001 ELO CD "Zoom" (titled "Flashback") DID contain remastered tracks (but lacked the choice 'lost' Secret Messages tracks unfortunately) and you could really tell the difference in quality - much improved.
This latest NEW compilation is supposed to sound even better. We shall see. It sure LOOKS great! ;D

Yes, I agree!! But I don't know if I'll buy the same music yet again -- I'll see what Jeff does with the individual albums first.
Later!
