You'd have to be crazy to want to catch a pitch thrown by Ralph when he was wearing the suit. What was Bill thinking? He didn't even have any gear on.

I was at ARod's very first major league game, when he was (if I remember right) 19 years old. He got on-base, but didn't make it home before the end of the inning. He's far from my favorite former Mariner, however. Edgar Martinez has that exalted position, although he retired (he was with the same club throughout his ML career) so is he really a "former" Mariner, or just permanently in the dugout? My least favorite EX-Mariner is now Randy Johnson, the bleeping traitor . He used to be my 2nd favorite, behind Edgar. I mean, THE YANKEES?? again. Well, speaking of this ep... I really dislike it, primarily for its position as the S2 opener... and the Gem of GAH, O:SS, being shown second. What were they THINKING?? If they'd begun S2 with O:SS, every single season, few as there are, would've started with an exemplary episode.

Darn right! I support two teams: the Red Sox... & whoever beats the Yankees. Now, if only the Sox could hold it all together... *crosses fingers* And, yes, I WOULD like to see Ralph nail A-Rod with a 200mph fastball. *evil grin*

Yeah, it's the Red Sox behind the Mariners for me; first big city I ever lived near was Boston, after all. So it's the Patriots too (after the Seahawks, of course.) I'll root for Green Bay as well, since I'm 1/4 Wisconsin.
OK, back to that mediocre episode... what was Bill thinking, trying to catch a ball from Ralph when the suit's going?
(Modified post: LOL scenario, I posted this without having seen your question too, What was Bill thinking?? GMTA, after all.)

I am one of the ultimately loyal state fans...I support both of my teams from my home state...the Cardinals and the Royals. Obviously, it is easier to support the Cardinals.

...and I support two teams: the Phillies... & whoever beats the Yankees!
But alas, I feel the Phillies will not nab the Wild card so......
